I love it!!!! I especially love the added touch of blue! I had no idea you could get a gun in pink (now I gotta worry about that purple ammo! LOL)

Although I haven’t shot a handgun in years I have used a couple different 9mm’s. The first gun I ever shot was an Israeli Desert Eagle 44 automag. That was a canon.

-—Bought the wife a Mauser HSC in 380 and it is vicious and bit her hand hard.-—

Those little blowback pistols in 380 are just bad news. Nasty recoil and the springs require too much force to rack the slide. The 32 is OK to shoot and handle but the round is anemic. Good old 9mm or 38 Special in a revolver is just about right.

Having said that, I bought a Glock in 357 Sig because I wanted a gun that was convertible between 40 S&W and 357 Sig and because I actually like the noise and blast. Where I live a 44 magnum is standard equipment.

I like the Sig P239 because it’s heavy enough and big enough to comfortably shoot and is still fairly compact to carry. It’s very reliable as well. They’re expensive though, around $700 I think. I paid $400 for mine, with night sights, some time back.

Are all of those things real?

Especially the one above. It is hard to think it is real.

Think we’ve got a live one over here. I’m told here have been several people signing on today, all of whom ask how to buy a un and then post no replies. Good hunting.

I was trained with the .38 as a sidearm in my Air Force days. Couldn’t hit a bloody thing with it. I had put 40 out of 40 rounds on the target with the M-16, so I was pretty unhappy and vowed to used the .38 as a hand-to-hand weapon.

Yes, a nice girly chat and we could teach her all about gun safety and how to care for a gun, and how to shoot without screamin’ like a girly-girl. LOL

My wife did better with the M-16 than I did...of course, hers had forward assist.
