Yes, it’s me...I’d like to know if Senator Voinovich is aware that there are far more than 12 million illegal aliens in this country already and it is clear that our government’s use of that number is entirely meant to mislead the public.

Yes, I resent continuing to be treated as if I’m stupid. Apparently our Senators aren’t aware that Homeland Security has reported that 10 million illegal aliens entered the country just last year alone?

No. Actually, it isn’t...I’d also like you to give this message to Senator V. as well, so please take this down....Senator V., are you aware that according to the 2000 census, 18,785,867 was the total populations combined of Wyoming, Dist of Columbia, Vermont,...are you writing this down?

Now, can you read that message back to me, I’d like to make certain that before Senator Voinovich passes AMNESTY for illegal aliens, that he knows EXACTLY the extent to which he is destroying this country.

It really is hard to stomach.
I don’t keep a ping list but this could be important and I can’t find a thread on it yet, just a post I made yesterday about it.
FOX news is now claiming that the conversation on one of the Sunday shows between Kay Bailey Hutchenson and Arlen Spector could be the answer to getting the immigration bill passed, and FOX is calling it ‘PROGRESS IN THE IMMIGRATIN DEBATE’.
I cannot believe the gaul of these people. She’s decided that the reason American’s are outraged and calling the bill amnesty is ONLY because of the timing of the ‘touch backs’. She seems to think we will support the bill if the timing of the ‘touch back’ is changed. Arlen Spector said something along the lines of their conversation being ‘breaking news’ because he felt they now might be able to find a ‘compromise’ that will get the bill passed!!!!
Well, I don’t know about you, but I am adamantly opposed to this ‘touch back’ scheme. It was proposed a long time ago by Pence and Bush embraced it and rallied it to the Republicans as a ‘compromise’. Illegal aliens and their ENTIRE FAMILIES, IMO, should have to go home and WAIT THERE, IN LINE behind everyone else waiting to get in legally. And it should be accomplished by enforcing our CURRENT immigration laws once the border is effectively secured.

All of these "undocumented" people have been counted in the census before, right? < /sarc>
Really, after adding that many people to the official rolls of the population, what will that do to the 2010 census? Will that move representation back to the rust belt? Will we see an increase in House seats for state that lost representation in the past?
Or worse, could this be the foundation for a push to add ADDITIONAL seats to Congress, changing the dynamic of the Electoral College?

I just left Senator Nelson a message and told him NOT to support “Comprehensive Immigration Reform” and that we would not accept anything less. I also said that any politican that supports this corrupt legislation will be voted out of office. This number was clearly setup to encourage illegals to call elected officials who do not even represent them because they are here illegally. This is an “open borders” lobby phone number. Please call it and warn your elected officials that they will be removed from office if they vote for this traitorous legislation.
