Police in Clackamas County are looking for a man they say locked three live pigs in his house in the hopes that they would trash the place. All because he was upset the home went into foreclosure.
Lovett bought a home on SE Wildcat Mountain Drive in Eagle Creek a few years ago. In January the house went into foreclosure. Neighbors told police that Lovett was extremely distraught over the the situation. He apparently told several that he had put the animals inside the house over a week ago and even joked about the fact that they did not have any water.
When deputies responded to complaints about the pigs, the inside and outside of the home were trashed.
Watch KGW report
Thomas Getten, an animal rescue expert from Estacada, was called to try and rescue the pigs. He was able to coax them out of the house with some food. He told KGW that the three pigs were a little dehydrated but otherwise doing fine.
Throughout the whole ordeal, the pigs remained in the house even though they had a way to get out. The back door to the home had been broken out but the pigs wouldn'tt jump the few feet to the patio below.
Anyone with information about Lovett was asked to call the Clackamas County Sheriffs Office.

I love it! A lot less dangerous than taking a chain saw to the place.

That looks more like manmade debris than the pigs.
So he’s mad about the foreclosure? Well, what idiot quit paying his mortgage? And what idiot agreed to pay it knowing that if he didn’t the bank would foreclose?

Well they could start by sharing the lads first name. Otherwise someone might just call and tell them all they know about Lyle Lovett.

The 3 Little Pigs. They huffed, and they puffed and they chewed the house down.

That looks more like manmade debris than the pigs. I agree. I had a rental once that looked like that when I got it back. And the pigs were human.

What an idiot. I saw a house new (5 years old) house listed very cheaply with the bank a few years ago. I decided to take a drive and check it out.
From the road it was a nice $70,000 modular on an acre. When I pulled up I could see that all the screens were slashed. The glass in the windows was new but the broken glass on the ground told me the windows had been broken out. Someone had carved “F*** YOU SCSECU” (my bank name)in the front door.
Looking in the windows I saw that all the light fixtures were ripped out of the ceiling. The electrical outlets were all ripped out of the walls. There were big holes kicked in the drywall and wiring was all cut up. In the bathroom the toilet was smashed into pieces along with the shower. I couldn’t see into the basement but I suspect there was real damage done down there.
The bank wanted 50 for the acre and the house but I wouldn’t have given more than 30 for the acre and frame of a house. It really irritated me that someone would do that rather than let it go back to the bank. I know it sucks but so what.

Looks like your typical welfare style living conditions. Most slumlord rental property I’ve seen looks like that at the end of two years. Then they move on and do it again to the next place.

Very typical in the old welfare community we used to live in. After they moved out, the neighbors and I would go through the places and marvel at the filth humans would choose to live in.

Hmmmmmmmm...we waz framd i tellz ya ...
So let me understand this, Lovett buys a house, doesn't bring home the bacon to afford it ... and then brings home the bacon ....to trash it. Isn't this called a oscillating redundancy?

My buddy’s landlord told him the house was going to be torn down after he moved out. Which translated to start the demolishing process for us in 21 year old. Then of course they decided instead they would just move it and not demolish it. Luckily they weren’t going to charge him for damages.

I don’t know the specifics of Oregon foreclosure law, but I would expect that the bank would have a deficiency claim against Lovett if the damage caused the value of the house to become less than the value of the loan. If he had any equity in the property, he’s just destroyed it and prevented himself from getting any money back after the foreclosure sale.

"You're always gonna have problems lifting a body in one piece. Apparently the best thing to do is cut up a corpse into six pieces and pile it all together. And when you got your six pieces, you gotta get rid of them, because it's no good leaving it in the deep freeze for your mum to discover, now is it? Then I hear the best thing to do is feed them to pigs. You got to starve the pigs for a few days, then the sight of a chopped-up body will look like curry to a pisshead. You gotta shave the heads of your victims, and pull the teeth out for the sake of the piggies' digestion. You could do this afterwards, of course, but you don't want to go sievin' through pig shit, now do you? They will go through bone like butter. You need at least sixteen pigs to finish the job in one sitting, so be wary of any man who keeps a pig farm. They will go through a body that weighs 200 pounds in about eight minutes. That means that a single pig can consume two pounds of uncooked flesh every minute. Hence the expression, 'as greedy as a pig.'"
