There seems to be an organized effort to claim the British royals as muslim. There are many stories claiming that Prince Charles is muslim.
If the muslims want the royals, they can have them.
If anything, Princess Diana considered converting to Catholocism. If I remember correctly, she was visiting a Catholic church often to pray and was being counseled by Mother Teresa, who she became friendly with because of her charity work.

There is no way to prove that Diana had such low self-esteem that she joined a death cult which abuses, rapes and kills women.
For a western woman to have a “thing” for muslim men indicates, to me, a suicidal streak. I’m not saying the car crash was suicidal. Obviously. She wasn’t the one driving. I’m just saying that for a western woman, knowing everything we know about islam, to want to submit and become absolute chattel, owned outright by a man whose culture teaches that all women are property, to me it shows a suicidal streak.
