Here’s something along the line of the tradition of fireworks.

We’ll be starting a hog late tonight for some of my famous, Carolina pulled Pork and cole slaw. I’ve got about a 275 pounder, anyone know where I can find one of them there Hawgzilla critters on about a 4 hour notice?

Happy Independance Day everybody!!

I’ll do the same here. Mrs ladtex already went out to get the hamburgers, hotdogs and chicken. Think I’ll stop off after work to pick up some brats and hotlinks.

I think I’ll let the “professionals” handle the fireworks this year. :-)

First rule of fireworks displays. If you see a pyrotech running, keep up.

I love to bbq. Rain sleet or snow. Nothing stops me. lol

At least with the rain we don't have to worry about starting a forest fire. We'll light 'em up(fireworks)between the rain drops.

Ha. When I was a kid, one of my cousins use to handle the town fireworks. Now that I know how crazy that sonofab!tch is, I’d have stayed miles away.

Our son is the pyrotech in our home. We sit in lawn chairs, bending elbows, going oooh and awwww as he sets them off. We learned the hard way that alcohol and explosives don't mix. No injuries except scrapped knees tripping over the chairs. lol

God bless you and your husband.

May you both have a happy and peaceful 4th.

BTW I'll be alone with my two kitties. What a comfort they are, are they not?
