DNA Taken From Pitbull That Raped 2-Year-Old
Police say DNA has been taken from the pitbull that attacked a toddler by allegedly sodomizing it last weekend. It was a disturbing and violent attack. The two year old child is in Women and Children's Hospital. Neighbors heard a mother screaming that her child was being raped. Now people are calling to adopt the pitbull.

Lockport police say taking DNA from the dog is part of the investigation.
Lockport Police received a 911 call from a frantic City of Lockport mother last Sunday afternoon.
The mother told Lockport Police that she left her two year old unattended for a short time and after hearing the baby scream, she ran to see what was wrong.
When she got in the room, she told Lockport Police the dog, named "Bear" had sodomized the toddler. The mother screamed, scaring the dog out of the house, but the dog was still attached to the baby.
One neighbor told 2 On Your Side, she heard the mother screaming "the dog is raping my baby." Neighbors ran to help, but only one man was able to get the dog and child apart.
Anastacio Castillo says "I tried to get the dog away from the baby, the dog was already inside the baby." When the baby was finally free, he was visibly sick. Castillo says the boy was vomiting and bleeding.
The baby was rushed to Women and Children's Hospital where the toddler underwent reconstructive surgery.
The dog is being held at the Niagara County SPCA for evalution. An animal behavior specialist is scheduled to evaluate the pitbull on Friday.

The Niagara County District Attorney's office is assisting Lockport Police with the investigation.
Miranda Workman, behavior specialist at Purrfect Paws in Amherst says, "Most likely this is not a learned behavior. Dogs in tact, not spayed or neutered have a higher hormonal drive."
She urges parents to never, ever leave their children alone with a dog.
Often people make the mistake of not training their animals.
I have seen people who train dogs in agility trials who dont train their dogs that they are not the king of the house.
Its very annoying to see a dog that does not know its place.
Dogs will do all kinds of aweful behavior around humans including family members if they are allowed to believe they are higher in the pack order than the human.
Dogs can be great members of a family if they are taught that they are at the bottom of the pecking order

BTW, when you say “the female has control”, you don’t mean consciously right? I mean, the female can’t make a conscious decision to “let go”. It’s a reflexive reaction beyond the females control. At least that’s my understanding. Although, from the canine couplings I’ve whitnessed, it does appear the male is trying to leave moreso than the female is...once he’s finished. Is it a case of the female saying “no you can’t leave till I get mine too”?

I guess that’s why they’re double checking the story with DNA tests.

Apparently in this post-structuralist world you don't really own your animals either. Now, I don't think you should go around having sex with animals, and I think it should be against the law, but he has a point.

I have heard of a similar case to this. The story goes like this.... The mother was taking a bath and she had a young son maybe between the ages of 2-3 years old. The child has messed on himself in his diaper and the family had a 70 pound rottweiler. The rottweiler had picked up the scent of the child and what he had done. The dog sodimized this child and the mother heard crying from within the bathroom. When she came out she saw feces and blood everywhere. Her child was injured in the same manner as the child in this story. When investigated the mother was arrested but the child stated that the dog had attacked him. As apart of the investigation the police could find no evidence of any kind of object that would have indicated that the mother had did it despite child services pushing on he child that his mother had did it to him. I do not recall how long she had been in jail but as the child got alittle older he still insisted that the dog had attacked him and the mother was later released from jail. Suppose, just for the sake of argument, mommy dearest sold her toddler to Mr. Castillo for sex. He’s too big for a two year old and caused enough damage to require medical attention.
