NEWARK, N.J. A Peruvian national in the U.S. illegally and who was previously charged with raping a 5-year-old pleaded not guilty Friday in the execution-style slayings of three young college students a day after surrendering to Mayor Cory Booker.

cute, lol...maybe someone who knows how to *ping* a moderator will ask this question directly ;) I’m curious to know the reasoning behind it.
Re: had been arrested on charges of raping a 5-year-old and then threatening the child and parents. In that case he faced a 31-count indictment.
There are places in the world where people like this get beaten by the public without any repurcussions by legal authorities......sometimes I think we are much too civilized.
If he is guilty, an indictment is nothing if he is still walking the streets.
I don’t think it would do any good. I added the key words to this post so that people could actually find it, lol.
They did not approach the INS to identify him and initiate deportation proceedings.
You have no evidence to support this statement. I pointed out to you evidence directly rejecting this statement.
I find sticking to facts makes for a better discussion.
Every immigration official who knew that this piece of human debris was here illegally and did nothing about it is complicit in these three murders. Every one of them should be fired immediately. That might give some incentive for the lackadaisical immigration officers to get off their butts and start protecting the public from these criminal illegals.
Someone saying that the immigration authorities were "apparently aware" of this individual does not directly reject the statement - this manner of talk is oblique, not direct.
Very prudent of you to put an intervening sentence before your third sentence where you identify the culprit! [grin]
I'm not a lawyer, but the problem might be sovereign immunity. The government is immune from liability except in those situations where Congress has agreed it will be liable. Also, govt agencies probably have discretion about enforcing laws and setting priorities. I think all this contributes mightily to their smugness.
Maybe someone who understands the law could chime in.
But FOX headlines it on their FRONT page as "Suspect in Student Killings Is Illegal, Charged in Rape".
It might be nice to add the frontpage headline, if it is not too long, especially since it is the one that has the juice.
I suspect that searching on the wrong headline was the reason for the duplicate threads.
There is also the not-so-slight problem that he has yet to
be convicted by a court on any of the allegations.

Great points...thanks for that explanation.
Talk about oblique. You know, accepting that you presented opinion as fact is not gonna kill you, really, you'll survive.
BTTT
Recall Korzine!
I think you answered your own question.
Why the hell wasnt he deported? This is President Bushs responsibility.
Time to impeach this travesty of a president.
this creep was out on bail, committed another crime, and still got out on bail a second time....
the Rats have put so many of their leftist quid pro quo judges in place that it would take a century to rid this country of their ilk and their influence and only if we start now....
of course, we still get Pubs who willingly put known Rats in high positions in the effort to seem open minded....
in this case, I am not ruling out that rape was the ultimate threat here.....they pulled the one girl aside and I don't know the explanation for that....
I wonder why I have to search for postings on this...even from the beginning.....its seems like a turning point in our culture when young people are lined up and shot execution style.....
Also, per FNC: There's been a third arrest, another juvenile.
