This is a good site for browsing thru cute kitty pictures but this time it has the names of the puds right there with the pictures! So many times we rack our brains and come up with nothing ... finally resorting to Baby Name books ! So, peruse. Use. Or not. But add the names of your own cookie-pies? So we can all have a pool of names with which to consult should we run across that extra little mouth to feed in the sometime future and be forced to face The Dilemma once again.
"... or don't. I don't give a rip what you do." (quote from Tiki, Mr. Congeniality)
Kitty Ping!
Generally speaking two-syallbe names are best if you wan them to maybe recognize their name.
If you consistently call “Here Kitty Kitty” when you put out food after awhile they will come when they here the call.
LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL (cat does not appear to see the humor in the bun)
Don’t have pictures of them but we have Indy, Jack and Kittygirl. Then there are the yet unnamed holy trio of terror known as the KITTENS!
/Kittens!! Oh you lucky lucky person you! It’ll be a long long time before I have any kittens again. I envy you. Kittygirl is an adorable name, though! I call my girl kitties that for a nickname at times. At other times, I call them lil’ monkeys!
We had NINE kittens at one time! Slowly but surely we’re finding them homes!
Kittygirl moved into our garage last winter, disappeared for a time during January’s icestorm and reappeared pregnant in February. She’s stuck real close since then!
I have always wanted a pet Peeve.

She looks unhappy, lol.
My mom has a cat called Kittykitty.
I had one kitty who was born on the 4th of July, so she was named Miss Belle in honor of the Liberty Bell.
Current kitty is a former stray (um, excuse me, rescue kitty) who was first spotted by my vet stalking a finch. She is now named Miss Finch.
My cat is named Floyd. He’s not pink.
One book I have suggests using names with "s" or at least an S sound in them, seems they like the sound--at least according to that book.
Our 17 year old is “Tika” and our 3 month old is “Claymore.”
I have a cat now I call MollyPollyannaPoo.
They would call here "Here Puppy" and that darn cat would come runnin'!
Oh man...cat names. Over the years I have had Diddle, Phoebe, Max, Punky (started out as Punkin Butt, also answered to Punk, Punkster and Punkmeister),Sweetpea, Sammy, G.G (short for Goofy Girl), Charlie, Poppy, Mia, Moochie, and Scooter. My brother had one named Miss Kitty Russell (after Miss Kitty on Gunsmoke, in case any of you are too young to remember.)

The Naming of Cats
—T. S. Eliot
The Naming of Cats is a difficult matter,
It isn’t just one of your holiday games;
You may think at first I’m as mad as a hatter
When I tell you, a cat must have THREE DIFFERENT NAMES.
First of all, there’s the name that the family use daily,
Such as Peter, Augustus, Alonzo or James,
Such as Victor or Jonathan, or George or Bill Bailey -
All of them sensible everyday names.
There are fancier names if you think they sound sweeter,
Some for the gentlemen, some for the dames:
Such as Plato, Admetus, Electra, Demeter -
But all of them sensible everyday names.
But I tell you, a cat needs a name that’s particular,
A name that’s peculiar, and more dignified,
Else how can he keep up his tail perpendicular,
Or spread out his whiskers, or cherish his pride?
Of names of this kind, I can give you a quorum,
Such as Munkustrap, Quaxo, or Coricopat,
Such as Bombalurina, or else Jellylorum -
Names that never belong to more than one cat.
But above and beyond there’s still one name left over,
And that is the name that you never will guess;
The name that no human research can discover -
But THE CAT HIMSELF KNOWS, and will never confess.
When you notice a cat in profound meditation,
The reason, I tell you, is always the same:
His mind is engaged in a rapt contemplation
Of the thought, of the thought, of the thought of his name:
His ineffable effable
Effanineffable
Deep and inscrutable singular Name.
I didn't want to name it Wilma so he's FEMA and a disaster he is through and through but he's such an oddball - I think I'll keep him.

Nice going, Tinkerbell. Not bad for a housecat.
Boy them kitties is CUTE!!! Thanks for sharing!
Personally, I think cats should have noble names. That is why we name ours after military heros/heroines.
I love kitties.
My names: Smudgie, Miss Peach, Fiona, Tuesenelda.

So ... what did you name them!? Is it a state secret?
Oh Lord, I'm so sorry! Are you pursuing litigation? You should!! that poor cat ...
One was MacArthur, (Mac), G.S. Patton (Patton), Omar Bradley, (Brad) and of course Oveta Culp Hobby (Vita).
Currently we have Montgomery (Monty) and Oliver North (Ollie).
Oh dear that’s a sad, heartbreaking story and I’m so sorry. Very hard. I refuse to buy ANYTHING at all made in China anymore!
Yeah it was. Our yorkies misshim almost as much as we do. They loved to torment him and he loved for them to do it. He was forever bringing a mole, bird or chipmunk into the house to eat in the cool. One chipmunk got away from him one time and hid in the trash can with my paper shredder where Cat couldn’t get to him. He eventually died and started to smell the place up. I kept smelling “something” as I sat at my desk and cruised the internet. Looked and looked and never found anything. One mornig it got toooooooo bad so my husband and I tore things apart. I sniffed and he looked. He had lost his sense of smell in a work accident in 1986 so he couldn’t tell any odor. Found ths little bugger in the trash can. Good thing it was half full of shredded paper to soak up any kind of “stuff” in there.
