Open Letter from an Adult Stem Cell Recipient

My name is Doug Rice, I am 61 years old and have Congestive Heart Disease and am Diabetic. I could be one of over 700,000  people that die in the United States yearly, BUT I am not dead. Not because I shouldn’t be, but because there is a resolve to this problem. I am not a miracle, a phenomenon, but a living person that by the Grace of God was saved from a disease that kills about 1,800 people daily. I had to travel to Bangkok, Thailand and go in debt to do something that should be readily available in the United States. I used my own stem cells, and a simple angioplasty procedure to have my life given back to me. Your own stem cells have so much more to give than we give them credit for; a lot of other diseases are being treated successfully by using adult stem cells.

These 700,000 Heart patients don’t make the mainstream press, no newspaper articles of any significance and certainly most politicians in Washington D.C. don’t even like to discuss it. Sadly, it is a fact, if a family dies in a car wreck, children are gunned down in a school, a disgruntled person shoots or maims his or her coworkers, and it is BIG NEWS.  However 700,000 people die at a rate of almost 1800 a day and no one takes the time of day to pray for them. Not all are old, some are very young, with families and friends to care about and most people just don’t realize that they die however almost everyone knows someone that will die from this disease.

Did you know that over $613 Million dollars has been spent researching embryonic stem cells as the miracle drug it is not? Did you know that to my knowledge not one person has been treated and the rats they have treated ended up with tumors?  Did you know that over 400,000 people with various cancers have been successfully treated and most are alive to talk about the Adult Stem Cell treatment using their own stem cells or ones from the cord, not one by embryonic stem cells?   To be honest, discussing Embryonic Stem Cells is like kicking a dead horse, “They Don’t Work Now, They May Never Work”, maybe in ten or twenty years, but not now and there is something that works “NOW” - adult stem cells !! What does it take to make people realize that a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush?

I bet if you ask someone what stem cells are, they will say embryonic, not because they know, but because that is all they hear about.  The only way to get the job of moving adult stem cells to the forefront is education, funding and actual treatment “NOW”.  I get many calls on a daily basis because I have been treated with my own adult stem cells. The most frequent question is “Why did you have to go to Thailand?” My answer is “Because the embryonic forum controls the press, the money and the education process as well as the medical industry. Also you can not get it done in the United States!” Kid yourself not, there is a lot of money involved, and do you think if adult stem cells had the financial reward potential that embryonic cell research has that we would even be having this discussion? There would be money coming out of the wood work, every medical enterprise would be all over it. However, your own stem cells are not for sale, they are free, no one can patent them and make billions off of them, and does that tell you why the funding and education on adult stem cells is so far behind??

Listen, I am but one man, a very lucky man, to have had my ex-wife, Sheba Rice, find the solution on the internet while looking for new technology for heart disease. Without her efforts, I would be in an urn on the fireplace. But, she gave a damn and wanted me alive for whatever reasons. We all need to do the same for someone we know or people that need the help. Those of us that care need to educate each and every person that you meet. Not because I say to, but because of the 700,000 people that will die this year not knowing of these types of procedures!  I would get down on my knees and beg if I thought that I alone could do it; however I know that I alone can’t make the difference. But you, your Senators, Congressmen, Doctors and news media friends can make that all important difference. I will do what ever I can do to move this forward, but boy do I need your help! Ask me for anything that will help and I will do my best, I am asking everyone that reads this to do their best, one day you may be where I have been, or your mother, father, brother, sister as well as relatives and friends. This is so serious I can’t imagine everyone not getting involved; by the way, I will admit I am a dreamer.  Feel free to contact me if I can be of help at info@douglastrice.org    Thanks for reading this and I know you will help!  Sincerely, Doug Rice dtrice55@hotmail.com  www.vescell.com

Interesting. I read about a lady in Texas that had something like this done and she had a extraordinary recovery. I’d like to read more about these adult stem cell treatments.

The AMA gestapo will be here shortly to declare this rubbish. Can you imagine what this kind of treatment would do to the pharmaceutical’s bottom line if it was legal here?

This treatment has to be made a felony! /sarc

When we humans cast about for knowledge we are not often

given a clear divining of the way to proceed. It is only a

clouded vision that allows us what we seek, as

filtered through a brain of which we do not yet understand

the workings of. The solution to this problem

takes time and sometimes we do not have it.

Dead Heart Tissue From Heart Attack, Is Repaired

In the groundbreaking new book, Miracle Stem Cell Heart Repair author/researcher Christian Wilde reports on the ongoing successful FDA trials for heart repair.

Patients who have survived 4 and even 5 prior heart attacks saw their ejection fraction (measurement of cardiac output) rise dramatically following the one time minimally invasive procedure and were able to resume their normal activities.

The first patient in the US to undergo the procedure shares his story of having his first of four heart attacks at age 34. Here is the best hope and promise for 22M dying of heart failure WW with 5M in the US. In this procedure, cells from the patient’s own thigh muscle or bone marrow are harvested, multiplied in laboratory and injected back into the patient’s damaged heart tissue.

In Miracle Stem Cell Heart Repair directors of cardiovascular cell based therapy from Columbia University, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, University of Pittsburgh, Minneapolis Heart Institute, St. Elizabeth’s Hospital/Tufts University School of Medicine, University of Minnesota, Cedars Sinai Medical Center and Arizona Heart Institute explain the science in everyday language to bring hope of adult stem cells therapy in helping millions who have had heart attacks over the past decades.

One patient relating his personal story shares what his own cardiologist told him;: “With 75% of your heart barely functioning, you should be dead today.” This same patient was walking a mile a day 8 weeks later.

Spinal Injury: During the 14 months of research for Miracle Stem Cell Heart Repair, Wilde’s emphasis and concentration was on the miracles happening with heart repair however he became aware of the thousands of patients suffering from more than 70 different catastrophic diseases who were receiving benefit and healing from other forms of adult stem cell therapies.

He writes about a doctor in Europe who had performed (by August 2006) more than 28 complete spinal injury stem cell transplants in quadriplegic and paraplegic patients.

After undergoing the cell procedure these patients are reportedly beginning to walk. In the procedure the patient’s own stem cells are harvested from the olfactory sinus bulb (as shown in the book). One patient in the book, (a complete injury quadriplegic case) had according to MRI post implant evaluation, shown 70% spinal tissue repair.

This patient continued to improve and walked 1,400 steps by mid 2006, and is gaining strength daily. What concerns the author is that the public has not been made aware of these miracles or the 300 stem cell trials currently in progress for more than 70 different catastrophic diseases including MS, Parkinson’s, SLE Lupus, breast, ovarian, testicular and liver and even brain cancer.

While it had earlier been thought that adult stem cells ould not enter the brain as neurons in treating neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinson’s, MS, ALS and spinal injury that barrier has now been crossed according to an earlier announcement from Johns Hopkins.

A patient was treated at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles CA for Parkinson’s disease with his own stem cells 5 years ago. He reportedly was able to resume his work symptom free his symptoms.

A female patient from Hawaii reportedly has recovered from Parkinson’s after adult stem cells were used in a procedure using retinal pigment epithelial cells’ (hRPE) the procedure was performed in Beijing China.

A doctor in Cincinnati, Ohio has taken stem cells from a living relative and after injecting them into a young man’s cornea brought him sight after 22 years of total blindness.
