A Minot airman has supplied Project Camelot with detailed answers to these and other questions. The information is of such importance that we have felt obliged to present it as a stand-alone follow-up report.
The name we have given our source, Jack Carter, is a pseudonym. We have not yet met him, but have conducted extensive correspondence by e-mail. We are confident that he is exactly who he says he is: an experienced airman with extensive personal experience of nuclear weapons security procedures at Minot AFB.
We believe that nothing we are reporting here is classified or constitutes any breach of National Security. Our source is patriotic and responsible and he chose not to divulge certain information which was not pertinent to an analysis of what may actually have occurred.
The e-mail transcript - essentially a written interview - follows. It is slightly edited and abbreviated for clarity, and we have omitted a number of personal references and identifying characteristics from his report to protect his identity. Jack has given his permission for us to release the following which was reviewed and approved by him prior to publication.....

I was not previously familiar with the Will Thomas whose articles are also mentioned in this article (and admittedly his stuff isn't the sort of material that freepers would normally read), but I had already come, independently, to the conclusion that the Minot incident was a Chinese intelligence operation, a shot across the bow of our defense establishment, to let them know that our security of our National Command Authority has been fully compromised. What say you?
It is best if this isn’t discussed. You’ll understand in the future why.
You probably didn’t have to excerpt it.
These weapons are very destructive and detonating a large multimegaton-sized warhead anywhere is asking for a nuclear winter. Just one might do the trick. The amount of fallout, if detonated in North America, could wipe out the entire U.S. Everything after that is overkill. Mutually Assured Destruction. [The W80, of course, is a smaller warhead.]
To put it gently? Hyperbole.

"This can't be good..."
I’m just getting into the interview, but 1 thing I notice right-off is that the airman/interviewee refers to “SAC”. I assume that means the now-defunct Strategic Air Command. Now that could mean this guy is an old-head who is using the old term for Air Combat Command, or it could be an indicator that this is all BS. Still reading...
pflr
Reads like someone of whom, their entire military knowledge comes from movies and video games.
I was a USAF munitions systems specialist in the 1990’s and all the procedures he describes are true. I even had the pleasure of getting “Jacked-Up” in the WSA!
"This incident is too complicated. The concern here is of course the utmost that we can have. Nuke weapons have been the most safeguarded items in history (except UFOs) because of what they could do if placed in the hands of the wrong people."
Everyone knows we guard our nukes better than we guard our UFOs.
For anybody with any understanding of fallout effects/patterns etc, yes it does. For most of the general public it looks like a good reason to run around screaming and waving their arms frantically. The effects of a nuclear detonation would be mostly emotional unless the perp was able to put it in exactly the right place and the weather cooperated. The idea of a single detonation putting enough debris in the air to trigger a “nuclear winter” is simply foolish. Mt St Helens put more debris up than our whole arsenal could likely produce even if they were all near-ground burst.
...that's right where I stopped reading. It was an interesting ride up till that point.
“Nuke weapons have been the most safeguarded items in history (except UFOs) because of what they could do if placed in the hands of the wrong people”.
OK, I stopped reading right there. The guy is pretty plausible and I say that from being in the AF 20 years and having had the pleasure of serving in SAC for 2 of those years. The individual obviously has knowledge of the processes involved but as some other poster here noted, there is no SAC anymore. His reference to nuclear winter and UFO’s kind of finished off all credibility as far as I’m concerned.
Honestly it sounds like one hell of a tale, and reads like a Dale Brown novel.
I don’t have enough direct information to credit or discredit this story, and will leave that for ohters...
“...It is best if this isnt discussed. Youll understand in the future why....”
Wrong. If our military command structure cannot secure our nuclear stockpile, then there is no issue more worthy of discussion. This issue dwarfs all others confronting us.
So you believe the press release that this is a mistake? There are much, much bigger things going on here. Mistakes like this don't happen unless they are planned.
OF course I don’t believe the press. That’s the whole point. The question is, who planned this? I cannot imagine that the President or the Secretary of Defense was behind this. It would be too risky, both politically, and in terms of security. And don’t you find it strange that 7 servicemen connected with this event have died recently in “auto acccidents” and “suicides”?
You may not want to open this can of worms....
Oh, and why not? If you know something the rest of us don’t, ‘fess up.
Worms don’t frighten me at all.
USAF ping
The procedural stuff is accurate.
The conjecture is all nonsense.
“...all the deaths associated with this.”
What “deaths”????
As I’ve previously posted on this subject, and as supported by the “controls” cited here, somewhere between one or two dozen screw ups, pointing to extreme lack of discipline, top to bottom.
I hoisted the BS flag on the weapons platform in space comment......wing kings don’t comment to wingnuts with no need too know regardless of their security clearance.......
And note that this BB stacker / racker is saying “when I was there” etc , past tense terms. He don’t know sh*t about this incident , just basic procedures as to what used to be SOP when he was there.......he wasn’t assigned WHEN this incident occurred per my read of the text......
A lot of things about this incident don't make sense.
And if the Chicoms spoofed us, even 1% ... well it would be enough for me to boycott Wal Mart.
LOL
Ever walked across a livestock pasture?
Well we don’t guard the UFOs very well or Kucinch would never have escaped from the one he flew in on.
Just curious if anyone went to the willthomas site and read COMMAND OVERRIDE which purports to describe China commandeering VP Cheney’s aircraft and forcing it to land in Singapore - what say you all?
BTT.
Browsing around that site I find such other items that don’t provide me much reason to trust their credibility, such as their story about the murder of Gus Grissom:
(Gus) Grissom was also an outspoken critic of the program. Among his last words before he died, when there was a communications failure with the capsule just prior to the fire, were: “How are we going to get to the moon when we can’t communicate between two buildings?”
Moments later, the capsule burst into flames with the astronauts sealed inside. They were consumed by the fire with no chance to escape. His widow Betty and his son Scott both still maintain that the astronauts were killed deliberately by sabotage and that their many questions have never been adequately answered.
Clark McClelland and John Lear insist that there was also a fourth astronaut who died in the capsule, a member of an alternative space program... the “real” one, employing top secret advanced technology, which was highly classified. After the fire, according to McClelland and Lear, a heavy cover-up ensued that continues to this day. (Please see Project Camelot’s interview with John Lear for more details. Lear states that the fourth astronaut’s name is known.)
or the UFO coverup murders including:
James V. Forrestal was America’s first Secretary of Defense, and chief architect of the modern US Department of Defense; reliable sources state that Forrestal was one of the initial members of the newly-formed MJ-12, his position on the committee being replaced subsequent to his death by General Walter Smith. Forrestal was an idealistic and religious man who believed that the public should be told the truth about the UFO problem. When he began to talk to leaders of the opposition party and leaders of the Congress about the alien problem, he was asked to resign by President Truman.
Many investigators consider Forrestal to have been one of the earliest victims of the Great UFO Cover-up which started in earnest after the Roswell crash of 1947.
Lots of such links. I’m enjoying them, conspiracy nuts are entertaining. But I’m not buying what they are selling.
You shouldn’t have stopped reading. There is lots of informative material on this site. A fubar at Minot AFB pales in comparison. The truth is out there! For instance:
The Roswell Catastrophe
The visitors who crashed at Roswell were future humans1. They were not from another planet2, but from a future Earth stepping (which may be a better word than traveling) back in time to 1947 to attempt to deal with serious problems which had occurred in their history3. Their mission was to try to change their past by creating an alternative branch of their own timeline, so that particular events about to happen to us in our very near future would not actually occur.
The Roswell visitors were on a purely altruistic mission. They did not have to do this, but chose to... out of compassion. But the mission went disastrously wrong not just because they crashed (an accident caused by high-powered radar later the military realized this and made use of radar as a weapon), but because they had a device with them which was their only means, as an orientation device in time and space, to get them home and back to their own time.
The device was a little box, highly advanced and multifunctional in nature, and was far smaller than the “Looking Glass” that Dan Burisch4 and Bill Hamilton5 describe as being subsequently utilized by military scientists in various experiments. When the box was acquired and investigated by the military, this became a catastrophe in itself. It made the timeline problem many times worse, because this both introduced time manipulation technology to us at the wrong time... and also told the military what lay ahead.
It can not be stressed too strongly how totally calamitous for us all the Roswell incident was. It was a major, major setback, right at the start of the future humans’ project to help fix the problem. Acquiring a device such as that which the Roswell visitors carried would immediately alter the timeline which the future humans were trying to change in the first place... so there would then be two timelines that need fixing, and not just one.
And then they talk about other topics: NOAA, the Dark Star, and Global Warming; Insurance: Underground Bases, Project Preserve Destiny, and the Martian Colony; What Can Be Done?; and loads of footnotes.

Are you speaking from knowledgeable certainty
or
guessing assumption?
Not to me.
Had a best friend in such a role.
I don’t think so.
Perhaps and only perhaps
equally.
Not better than.
Mistakes like this don’t happen unless they are planned

AGREED.
Having studied such things for more than 45 years; having a close relative work around such things . . .
I still don’t know how to sift disinformation from the truth.
Thankfully, God has it all in His big hands regardless of what the
WATCHERS/ NEPHILIUM/ FALLEN ANGELS/ ET’s claim.
And, I’m 100% convinced it’s all part of the Biblically predicted END TIMES GREAT DECEPTION.
LOTS of things are not as they appear on the surface
and CERTAINLY NOT as they appear in the MSM.
I know. I remember that worldwide ice age after the Soviets detonated a 57MT weapon in 1961.
Yeah, but if they actually did that, don’t you think they would have read about their own crash? Seems kind of dumb to time travel to Roswell 1947- KNOWING THERE’S GOING TO BE A FATAL CRASH OF A FUTURISTIC AIRCRAFT. That’s Darwin award stuff.
Anyway, why do you need a UFO to time travel? Is ‘flying’ really necessary?
I have thought the computers were attacked by hackers.
A quick look at this search, does not change my mind.
Well, that all explains the Star Trek series Enterprise plot line for The Temporal Cold War.
Bravo 21 Nevada Test Site aka NTS.......hundreds of above ground nuclear test’s in the 50’s & 60’s ......... (I feel fine...cough, hack, scratch, sneeze.....)
There is a great deal of hyperbole in Jack Carter’s commentary that is incorrect and affects his credibility.
First, the nuclear winter prediction is vastly inaccurate.
Fission-based weapons produce a lot of radioactive fallout.
Fusion-based weapons do produce some radioactive fallout but far less in comparison to their yield. The blast effect is the primary objective of these weapons. The resultant dust produced from a large thermonuclear blast is quite small in comparison to even a minor volcanic eruption.
Second, the “death count” he alludes to, but does not give details on, is a commonly used practice to arouse alarm and lend credibility to his narrative. The details are removed to prevent the curious from authenticating his account. This method allows the writer to imply to the reader that his own safety is in jeopardy if the facts become known.
If people are indeed being killed by some US government entity then more details need to be produced. If Jack has credible evidence that proves witnesses are being silenced via murder, and fears for his own personal safety, then he should report this through the proper chain of command for whistle blowers. If he doesn’t trust, or is afraid, to use the proper “whistle” channel to avoid revealing his identity then why does he go public at all. Email is extremely easily traced to its originator with the proper IT tools.
Third, the is no physical way for the Chinese, or anyone else, to hack into the US internal command and control network. It is completely secure; beyond breach.
Finally, any UFO comment made in the context of discussion of nuclear weapons mishandling totally voids the author’s credibility.
