The only song he plays on a daily basis is his theme song, "My City Was Gone".

Everything else is on a 2 week rotation.

Except for every once in a while he will ask for a particular song to be played over and over and then placed in the rotation.

The latest was a song by "The Guess Who" called.......something.....I'm drawing a blank.

Matt Drudge’s bumper music was the best, IMO. Stinks that he no longer has a show on Sundays.

“Fight the Power” (Isley Brothers) and “You Dropped A Bomb On Me” (The Gap Band) are my favorites that he keeps in rotation.

Matt Drudge’s bumper music was the best, IMO.

I agree that he had some great music, and I seem to recall that he frequently mentioned who it was that he was playing, which was very gracious of him both for the benefit of the artists as well as the listeners.

Stinks that he no longer has a show on Sundays.

Yes, I miss his show very much.  Even though he dealt with a lot of celebrity and / or entertainment industry stuff that normally doesn't really interest me, he still managed to present it in a way that made it captivating, and I enjoyed it anyhow  :-)

He played a lot of music with unique vocals and / or arrangements and haunting melodies....somewhat in that vein is this, which may be of interest....it's been circling around in my fuzzy stoat brain for awhile   :-)

They let Rush use the song on the condition he donate some money to PETA. ROFL

Some money = $500 K a year.

It is just radio station bumper music, likely from a music library that the EIB Network pays for.

Art Bell who used to do Coast-to-Coast on AM had some great music too and it was usually detailed on his site.

Yes he did...I used to listen to him a lot prior to Y2K....he overhyped that and a few other things so much that I focused my attentions elsewhere.
