Barrack Obama's lipstick on a pig speech yesterday may be his "macaca" moment in more ways than readily meet the eye.
Yesterday, Obama made his lipstick/pig speech in the rural southwestern Virginia county of Russell. Shockingly, in 2006, George Allen made his infamous "macaca" comment in the rural southwestern Virginia county of Dickenson. Russell and Dickenson Counties sit side by side. In other words, it is the same patch of dirt. (I'm from there so I can say it.)
How can it be that The Chosen One could have been so reckless with his choice of words in the same place where George Allen's slip up destroyed his political career? I think this coincidence makes it all the more sweeter.
So am I, just a couple of counties or so to the east. I'm glad the Marxist has yet to come to my county. What drives me nuts is that ANYONE from around here would give that jackass the time of day. It also pisses me off to see our "conservative" democrat congressman Boucher on stage with Obama applauding him. Obama apparently thinks he can come to SW VA to cut his losses in this part of the state in hopes of winning. It's a smart thing to do on his part, because if he could only turn a few thousand votes down here, that could be significant in a tight race. McCain should make a token trip through here to boost turnout. Bush carried my county by around 75% in '04. McCain will need similar numbers from these parts if he is going to have any hope of carrying VA.
How can he be so reckless? Easy, he has the entire media at his beck and call.

Boucher is hardly Conservative, and is actually in serious trouble in far SWVA Rat circles because of his support for Barry over Hillary. My dad use to have no problem voting for Boucher. Now, he can’t stand the man.
I think this is right. Obama calling Mrs. Palin a pig with libstick is his ‘Macaca’ moment. But it’s worse than a ‘Macaca’ moment because Allen didn’t mean to insult that Indian guy when he called him a ‘Macaca,’ but there is no question Obama was trying to insult Sarah Palin by calling her a pig in lipstick.
Dennis Miller nailed it again...said everyone was worried about Biden making the gaffes, but as it turns out it’s the messiah!
I have heard from some people in the know that McCain Palin will come this way at some point (probably make a stop in Abingdon). That is totally unsubstantiated at this point, but I agree with you. They would do well do drop in and say “hi” before election day.
Actually — I believe it was more a slip back into the Islamic influence of Obama’s youth....

If he had been more “Islamic” he would have kept her on a tighter leash and muzzled.
That would be a good choice. He should hit two or three places while coming through here. Abington would be good, and Christiansburg would be another good stop for SW VA. Presidential candidates normally go to Roanoke anyway, so that's a given. If VA stays as close as it is, both candidates will probably be all over the state multiple times. One thing is certain, the local TV and radio stations are about to see a record cash flow during the next two months.

No, don’t get your hopes up. Only if you’re on the right can you have a “macaca moment”, mainly because you need the MSM to hammer it home every night til election day.

Obama’s ego and sense of indestructibility was bound to get the best of him sooner or later.
That macaca incident was so absurd. Yet the MSM hammered it home day after day. And Allen lost a very close election. The last two years would have been different in the Senate, because if Allen had been re-elected, the Republicans would have retained control of the Senate.
