Not according to a TSA screener last evening. He was very disappointed I'd trimmed my beard (my DL photo is similar to the one I sent), even though I explained I had to look a bit more professional these days.

(I'm looking forward to counting how many times visiting Austrians/Germans take me as being Viennese during the impending trip. They're always a bit abashed when I speak and instantly reveal myself as an American...)

You are a dear lady, 'Face! I tried -- for all that in the rush to the plane I forgot to pick up the gift I'd planned. Drat. Next time.

But with you as my guide -- no fear of Vegas at all anymore! In fact, this trip completely relegated prior memories of Vegas to "the past." (Rather the way my visit to NYC in '99 with LoM overrode the bad memories of my visit there ca '83.)

I look forward to my return a couple years' hence.
