What’s ~really~ funny is the lack of hot women lining up to straddle a rice burner rider’s back.....:)

Um, haven’t been looking at the sportbike meets and mags lately, I assume. Lots of girls on the back of bikes there.

Oh, and which is better? A clingy b***h, or one who rides her own bike? The latter is more common among “rice burners”.

You know what’s really funny?

The lack of hot women in bikinis lining up to WASH your Harley.

NOT WORK SAFE, NOT FOR CHILDREN: http://www.dallasdrivers.org/gallery/d/22225-2/IMG_0062.JPG

Yup, that’s my bike at the local bike meet. Imagine that...

More pics at: http://www.dallasdrivers.org/gallery/v/random/bikenightdallas/18Sep08/

How about that?

I'd prefer to have the rice burner babe waiting for me
than to wait in line for my time with the Harley chick.

Earth to Spktyr...most of those “hot babes” are models who are *paid* to be there.

I have been to tons of bike meets and the rice burners are surrounded by other rice burner riders....very few of whom are female.

I always feel sorry for the gals “up” on the back of RBs.
They look incredibly uncomfortable.
Small wonder they’d prefer to ride their own.

“Oh, and which is better? A clingy b***h, or one who rides her own bike? The latter is more common among “rice burners”.”

LOL!

You’ve not been out lately, have you?

Since HD introduced “The Hugger”, more women are on Harleys than ever.
Usually they upgrade to a Big Twin after getting enough experience.

I do see a gal or two on a “metric” once in a while.
Maybe it’s just where *I* live.

[and if you haven’t noticed, I ride my own]

Last time I went to a topless bike wash was a bit of a letdown.

All the chicks were sportin' so much ink, you couldn't tell if they were topless or not!

No kidding... Plus most Harley chicks are, well, Petri dishes.

Sad.

You really have to start going to more Harley events.

Even sadder is that you assume I *want* women washing my bike.

I happen to *be* one.....:)

How about that?

You've obviously never seen my incredibly hot wife in her motorcycle leather. And she's not just a decoration, she rides her own - a Yamaha FJR1300. More bike than anything Harley makes (not talking about price tag, talking about substance and performance).

Sigh, it would have to be a Beemer in the photo too.

A stock R1100S can run 120+ (with the bags on) all day long on the autobahn. Very stable yet responsive at speed it is.

Actually, I’m down here in Texas, right in the middle of the Harley belt... and there aren’t that many women on Harleys. Most are on metric cruisers or sportbikes. Harley’s sales are down too. People aren’t buying them, especially with the end of being able to use HELOC to buy one.

FYI, the “fastest person on two wheels” in the production-based classes is a lady who rides a sportbike. Not a Harley. :D And she comes from a Harley family, so that tells me that she has good sense. http://www.twtex.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32218

The ones that want to sit on the *back* of the bike usually are. And they're usually too stupid to wear protective clothing to guard their (arguable) beauty. Wouldn't know about the ones that ride their own, they're few in number; most "Harley girls" when offered a bike of their own bite a fingernail and demur.

You see, I had a Harley and went to Harley meets. Most disappointing, never seen a less safe group of bikers. Even the squidfests have more gear.

Example, a typical Harley rider:

Harley’s sales are down because people are sick of everything being outsourced to China.

We remove as much stock factory crap as possible and replace it with USA made parts.

We just triked a Victory.
Hubby was very impressed with the power it had which is saying something because he used to race drag bikes in FL.

[Kaws, mostly]

I think we once had a request to trike a Valkyrie but I can’t recall why we didn’t do it.

[too many years ago, too many other trikes between then and now]

Sooo... basically, you have to spend about twice as much to replace all the crap parts, and you end up with a heavy slow bike that is still less made in USA than a Honda Goldwing?
