Well, I along with some other FReepers invited him to join FR after seeing his YouTube videos. He did, posted something fairly innocuous about the Hadron Collider, and promptly got banned...

I’ve gotten the ZOT by “friendly fire” before as well. In fact, because of the a$$ who did it I stayed away from Free Republic for probably close to a year and a half.
Worse still, during one of these fund-raising drives I had made a fair sized contribution just to get SLAMMED...

I got on trouble a few times too. Once I questioned that Scarborough chump on MSNBC b/c I asked about some scandal in his past.
Another time, I was B!+ch slapped for supporting Giuliani... I really took beating and crawled under a rock...
Most the time, as long as we stick to conservative principals, you can argue and discuss whatever you want... But remember.... This is a privately owned forum and nobody is guaranteed anything except rocks for socialist.

I got the dreaded ZOT, the first time I ever posted. What a welcome to FR.
I believe they should only ban those who are downright nasty.
Banning people for holding dissenting opinions is what liberals do.
Conservatives believe in the marketplace of ideas and may the most logical and sensible beliefs win.

Yeah I got a 24 hour time out once because of a comment I think was misunderstood. The thread was about illegal immigration and wandered off track. Before long we were talking about a video game and I said something about killin and got the zot for promoting violence.
I was madder than hell for about 23.5 hours.
