Thank you Pres. Bush for being a wholly inarticulate educator of and a hypocritical example of conservatism. Thank you for creating more Rinos than the Serengeti plains. Thank you for the greatest increase in government spending since ever and thank you for ignoring the obvious lack of troops in Iraq for so long that America turned against a fully winnable and incredibly justified war. Thank you for Pres. Obama. really....thanks.

I hope President Bush enjoys his retirement. We sure won't.

his only positive political legacy in 2008 is the re-election of the governor of Indiana, his former budget guy. No one else advanced from this eight years. Compare to all the Clinton guys in governor positions.

What a disaster this turned into.

Since I saw Obama supporters yelling *No More Bush* instead of O-B-A-M-A, on Austin's Sixth Street last night, I can't disagree with your summation.

For the first time now I, too, can say something is Bush’s fault. We can thank him for Obama. He never even tried to be the leader of conservatism. Thanks (or “so long and thanks for all the fish...)

President Bush was very good at making sure he had 50%+1 on two days in eight years. He was not particularly concerned with having it for a third day.

He has been good on the WOT. Frankly, I’ll take that, and be happy with it.

I still love W (as a man). But he was a HORRIBLE president during his second term.

Allowing the media to destroy his legacy, and conservative principles, all while he had the bully pulpit is unforgiveable.

His inarticulateness killed US.

Four short years ago, Pres. Bush garnered over 63 million votes, more than Obama received last night. The msm and Democrats in Congress and the Senate immediately began the job of dismantling any mandate he thought he had.
They were totally successful because he did not fight back at all. There were literally weeks when he was not visible at all.
BO deserves exactly as much reverential treatment from conservatives as Democrats gave Pres. Bush.

Bush led the GOP from dominance to oblivion, and did it by spending. Supposedly he kept us “safe”. I don’t feel particularly “safe” right now.

Thank you for creating more Rinos than the Serengeti plains.

I'm not going to jump on the bash Bush bandwagon, but I must say that struck my funny bone. :-)

Difference is Obama will fight back, the Dems will fight back, the press will fight back. Opposition will be shut down by strongarming, cries of racism, whooping gullible Americans into a frenzy, etc.

Meanwhile W wil happily be pulling weeds on his ranch...

Easy to lash out at someone this morning, but I refuse to pile on Bush right now. Let’s come back and fight another day, and identify the real enemy here, 0bama.

Thank your President Bush.

You stand tall among political midgets.

We were wise to choose you over Senator McCain in 2000.

God Bless President Bush. He spent 8 years of 24-7 non stop attacks from our enemies, the press, the democrats, and many from his own team. I wish him and his family all the best.

Bush has been a disaster for the Republican brand. Everybody knew what Ronald Reagan stood for. Everybody knew what the 1994 GOP stood for.

Bush has appointed good justices and fought strongly against the War On Terror.

But what has he done to advance conservative principles?

Which portions of the Contract For America has he advanced?

That’s a total cop-out.

All the responsibility for letting the media eat Bush alive and letting the GOP go soft can be found in the mirror.

If we’re lucky maybe now we’ll hear the wakeup call.
