Congratulations! You have the first entry in your photo album. May he grow big, strong, and smart as he will have an awful lot of people to carry on his back as he enters the workforce.

Soon your life will be concisely definable in two phases - BK and AK.
K = kids.

She went about her business, locating and identifying this part and that. Then she stops... "Yup! Its a boy!" As I sit there glued to the monitor, I realize that I have this big, goofy smile on my face. My cheeks are starting to hurt as I am smiling too hard!
CONGRATS!!!!! Here is one thing you need to know from someone who has both boys and girls. Boys are a completely different animal from day one! But I have had incredible fun with all of my kids.

Congratulations
As the years go by, you will also find the awesome realization that the strapping young man standing before you going on his first date, driving for the first time, making you drop a tear of pride for an award ceremony he attends was once a little bundle of nothing born of your flesh.
Cherish the early years, they go bye very fast

Thank you for that, when they are seven or eight we forget how special they were at that time.
Eat out a lot and sleep as much as you can now. Really. No joke.

Seeing that image pop up on the screen changes your life and your thinking forever. By now, I assume, your wife is just delighted she will have a little boy. Funny how that works.
We had ultrasound some 28 years ago with our first ... the technology was nowhere near where it is today, but the moment is forever etched in my memory (to quote a not so great man).
Wishing all the best for all of you.

Congratulations! Something precious will come into your life oh, what, about 12-16 weeks from now? And something precious will depart. That would be sleep. ;-)
Better start thinking it over now, because it'll be with the little guy for the rest of his life. No, not his name, his FR nick...
To: RayBob
Congratulations to you and the Mama...
