If you utilize Google to research the origination of Kwanzaa, you will be hard pressed to find any information as to the background of Dr. Maulana Ron Karenga the torturer who started the movement.

A friend of mine brought this to my attention when he was trying to verify some information on Kwanzaa that was given to his son in school. The info on Kwanzaa contained absolutely nothing about Karenga nor the reason for his imprisonment.
So when he attempted to research Kwanzaa on Google, he found it almost impossible to find any reference to Karenga's jail time for torturing two females........

Kwanzaa, (matunda ya kwanza, Swahili for first fruits), an African American holiday observed by African communities throughout the world that celebrates family, community, and culture. It is a seven-day holiday that begins December 26 and continues through January 1. Kwanzaa has its roots in the ancient African first-fruit harvest celebrations from which it takes its name. We are at war with Eastasia. Oceania has ALWAYS been at war with Eastasia.
That’s an interesting line of query - you’re not a racist, are you?

The founders are really nice guys...
of In 1971 Karenga, Louis Smith, and Luz Maria Tamayo were convicted of felony assault and false imprisonment for assaulting and torturing over a two day period two women from the US organization, Deborah Jones and Gail Davis. [2] A May 14, 1971 article in the Los Angeles Times described the testimony of one of the women: "Deborah Jones, who once was given the Swahili title of an African queen, said she and Gail Davis were whipped with an electrical cord and beaten with a karate baton after being ordered to remove their clothes. She testified that a hot soldering iron was placed in Ms. Davis's mouth and placed against Ms. Davis's face and that one of her own big toes was tightened in a vise. Karenga also put detergent and running hoses in their mouths, she said."

Ron Karenga was one of the names of political prisoners to whom Ayers, Dohrn, et al, dedicated
Prairie Fire, can be found lines above Sirhan Sirhan.
Another Marxist POS tortured women, served time, entered academia, typical career path.
