We will Remember:
I saw this outstanding tribute to our Vietnam Vets. I would like to take this time to thank all our Vietnam Vets for their sacrifice. May God bless them all.
Please feel free to share this link with Vietnam Vets you may know. We owe them all a great deal of gratitude.
May God bless all who serve and have served.
Your service is greatly appreciated. And everyday should be Vets day.
Thanks again. I mean it from the bottom of my heart.
I am proud of all who served in Vietnam. Our Troops never lost a battle in Nam. Americans lost the will to fight here at home. Leftist anti-war protester stole our will to fight. I am sorry that they left you down. I was born in 66 and I never stood with a commie hippy protester and I never will. I want to thank you for doing what you were asked to do. You are the greatest and you all are heroes.
May God bless you all.
Thanks to my daddy, my stepdad, and my uncles Jimmy (RIP) and Buddy. God also bless my grandaddy (USMC) who served stateside until retiring in ‘69.
Thank them all for me.
Please let our Vietnam Vets know that there are people in the generation that came after them who respect what they had to do. There are some of us who look at them as heroes. Who look at the Hanoi Jane’s as traitors. Who can look back and see that when we pulled out of South East Asia, millions of people died. We know and understand that pulling out was a mistake and we wish to learn from this lesson. Some of us see this anyhow.
Thank you for letting our Vietnam Vets know that there are people who look up to them. They deserve every ounce of respect we can give them.
People here at work are wondering why I became suddenly silent....Memories have flooded back....Serving was my honor...Thanks...I can’t type anymore
Thanks to all our vets and god bless them and their families.
Thanks to all our vets and God bless them and their families.
Sorry 'bout being a Grammar Nazi; and I know where your heart is, others may not. Besides for Him, that is why I wanted to fix that.
Thank you -
Vietnam: Aug 1970 - Aug 1971
Please allow me to thank you for your service. I am damn proud of you all.
I want you to know that I am glad that men such as you live and lived. I am glad that men like Washington, Jackson, Grant, Lee, Pershing, Patton, Westmoreland, Schwarzkopf, Petreaus and those who served under these leaders lived. Yes some did not live long. But thank God they lived. Patton said: It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather, we should thank God that such men lived.
I thank God for all who lived and served liberty.
No, thank you.
Your service is greatly appreciated. More then you know.
and do you mind passing this along? Please AND thank you (cause Momma always told me to say please AND thank you). :-)
I need to proof read I guess
no problem, just want to fix it for you.
And we were on the verge of winning there. At least until 0bama....
Eternal gratitude to all who serve!
Very touching link.....thanks for the ping Conor.
BTTT with a HUGE thank you to all the Viet Nam Vets!!!!
I lost someone to that war...
My brother, thank Heavens, made it home safely.
Thanks for this tribute to my fellow vets. My time (63-67)was spent aboard a Tender, providing service to the fleet, so I was never “in country”.
for your viewing and listening pleasure, the following links are videos of our Veterans Choir, formed during the last year at our church singing at the three weekend services this past Veterans Day weekend.
Each link must be opened separately...
Welcome home, Dave...and thank you!!!!!!!
Thank you for your service Dave.
I loved Mansion of Lord. They did that at Reagan’s funeral and dang near brought a tear to me eye.
I am sorry and I am thankful that your brother made it home.
Thank you. Tears flowed freely as we sang.
Our choir consisted of WWII vets through present day members of our armed forces. PTL!
Tell me about it....I'm finding that the /sarcasm tag needs to be added a LOT lately.
And yeah, I'm MIGHTY thankful that my
partner in crime brother made it back safely, too...
Your service is appreciated and remembered.
I need to learn to read it before I post it. ;-)
I am sure it was an honor!
MEL’s -PASSION- sparked by -WE WERE SOLDIERS-
Once a soldier and young,
They are still soldiers:
And always will be.
Thank you to my hubby and my three brothers.
Thank you to my cousin Eddie.
Thank you to my friends from high school and college: Mark, Mike, Steve, Jim, Vernon, “Weasel”, and Frank.
You all served honorably and some of you came very scary close to not making it back.
Thanks to all who served.
Please everyone- read the book Stolen Valor it will explain so much- I recommend it to those of you that were old enough to remember the war- especially if you served it will mean a lot to you. And I recommend it to those of you that are too young to remember the war- you need to know the truth about what the left and the politicians and the media really did to our great guys and never allow it to happen again.
Amen to that. And thank God men such as your husband, brothers, Eddie, Mark, Mike, Steve, Jim, Vernon, Weasel, and Frank lived.
BOR pointed out to Ted Turner the other night that millions died after we pulled out of South East Asia. All Ted said was, 'you got me there'. You got me there? What kind of an answer is that? And if we quit this time, we wont be around to hear the left say, 'you got me there'. I don't think I could hear it again anyway. ;-)
Anyway, David Horowitz has another good book, 'unholy alliance'. Last time, the left aligned them selves easily with the commies. This time, they align themselves with the jihadist.
Thank you for your post.
There is no one on the Planet Earth that appreciates FREEDOM more, than those who have had it violently taken from them.
Thus, Vietnamese Americans are so very grateful to we Vietnam Veterans who so selflessly fought to preserve their FREEDOM in their homeland long ago. Grateful also to those who are just as selflessly bringing more FREEDOM and LOVE ‘round the world today.
For they know, best of all, that if FREEDOM were to fall now here in a still Free America,
...they’ve got nowhere else to run to this time around..!!
AND NEITHER DO WE..!!!
After the Fall of Saigon, came a most horrid:
..”JOURNEY from the FALL”..
NEVER FORGET, it really could all happen HERE..!!!
Thanks for the post. We need a reminder.
Thank you for your service!
