Were Dinosaurs on Noah’s Ark? (yes)

So, Were Dinosaurs on the Ark?

In Genesis 6:19–20, the Bible says that two of every sort of land vertebrate (seven of the “clean” animals) were brought by God to the Ark. Therefore, dinosaurs (land vertebrates) were represented on the Ark. How Did Those Huge Dinosaurs Fit on the Ark?

Although there are about 668 names of dinosaurs, there are perhaps only 55 different “kinds” of dinosaurs. Furthermore, not all dinosaurs were huge like the brachiosaurus, and even those dinosaurs on the Ark were probably “teenagers” or young adults.

So, show us some evidence that any dinosaur species survived long enough to interact with humans. You've got a pretty big gap in time to fill.

LOL! I don’t know if that picture is meant to make me feel stupid or meant to offend me but either way, it’s really funny.

You have got to be kidding me. If you believe this stuff, then you have abandoned reason. Seriously, folks. Come on!

But I know, I know.. God made carbon dating work where it would trick people into not believing that the earth is 5k years old.

The earth is NOT billions of years old, nor millions, nor even thousands of years old. In fact, the earth is only about 47 years old, and it only came into existence the day I was born. Your belief that anything existed before I came into being is nothing more than a figment of my imagination. I'm sorry to let you know that when I die, your existence will end, but that's what happens when you're a figment of someone else's imagination.

Sorry,

Mark

Where is the man? The story says it is a man, but the smaller fossil looks nothing like a human or any other primate, it has a clear reptilian face.

I do not see what the words of St Paul have to do with dinosaurs and the local flood. Sorry — can you please explain?

I don’t know what Pesher means but no one is reading the Bible as a scientific text but it is historically accurate. If God wanted to create the world in six literal days, I think He’s capable. Scientist have been wrong before, and their wrong now.

>> If the flood was only local, God sure wanted us to think it was global.

That depends on who authored Genesis. The Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God — but it is written by human hands, translated by human hands, and handed down through human history. Perhaps, to the author of Genesis, it appeared that the entire world was flooded ... but it would be impossible for the human writer of Genesis to verify that, in fact, the entirety of both hemispheres were flooded.

It is possible that the flood was local, or continental, and not global ... and, that it was visually misinterpreted by the author, translations were screwed up, or something else happened. It is also possible that the entire world was truly flooded.

This is one of the many questions I’m planning on asking when my number comes up ...

That’s it, they had pointy teeth and large claws?

Okay, then.

demshateGod had the same kind of question...Much of what is offered regarding dinosaurs is simply assumed from post-deluvian knowledge (e.g., colored by evolutionist thinking) or just plain made-up.

To posit an extreme, I would not be surprised to find out that T-Rex (if it even existed as we see it rebuilt in the museums) actually had pink skin (not scales) with huge green polka-dots.

Oh, carbon dating. I didn’t think of that. I guess I should throw my bible away or just read as a compilation of fun stories and believe a bunch of men in white coats instead. The best way to describe carbon or radiocarbon dating: Garbage in Garbage out.

I believe there was only one window, and God said not to open it. Genesis 8 says window singular, not plural and Noah was not allowed to open it until 40 days after the waters receded.

I can’t though some people could. You can’t prove the reverse either so stop trying to tell people your religiously held theories are scientific facts.

Look at it's teeth (bigger pic at link) as well as hands. It's clearly a primate being gobbled by an Allosaurs a whole 140 millions years before primates were suppose to exist. This amazing find totally disproves that evil Darwin man!!!!

You know the thing about the trex bone they cut in half to get on the small helicopter a couple summers ago and the soft tissues and blood cells, yes??

When do you say the dinosaurs disappeared?

Think about it. If there were dinosaurs on the ark, would Noah have lived to tell the tale? Especially if T-Rex was on board.
