Forgot to ping 313 - (and there are probably another 20 I am missing! Anybody else have this problem? I never deliberately leave names off - but don’t use a ping list, and just type in the names of all my buddies here from memory. Problem is - the memory is playing tricks on me lately.)

One of the cutest things ever written! And its sounds very true, too!

The Legend Of The Wedding Ring
Author Unknown

In a far off country many centuries ago,
A kind young king was married to a princess he loved.

Together they lived happily
Until they learned one day that duties were to force
The king to journey far away.

One night, before he left,
He tossed some pebbles into a moonlit pool
On the palace grounds
As he sat thinking of his lovely Queen.

Something wonderful occurred to him
As the lovely ripples widened,
From where the little pebbles had fallen.

The next day,
Remembering the glistening circles he had seen,
He had a gold ring made
To fit the finger of his Queen.

“There is no ending or beginning
To the circle of this band”,
The King said as he slipped it on her finger,
“And that is why I have chosen this golden ring
To be a pledge to you-
My love will last through all eternity.”

And so, since that time,
A golden ring has been a symbol
Of the beauty of devotion
And the beauty of the endlessness of love.

Good morning & Happy Feb! Yesterday was groundhog day.. 4 years ago I was there & next day posted a slew of pix at the Finest!

A day early for WWF but since I will be gone most of tomorrow, here is pix of Josy jumping for snowball & FReeper Wheelbarrow. Bill will be moving the end of this month to a group home in NJ. we will all miss him, including the pups. This is NOT a move he wants & it is going to be very difficult for him

Yorkie , how is the patient doing?

Cast off this past Friday (BIG TGIF?). Still have a few months of limited use & exercises to get the flexibility / strength back but it is nice to soak in tub & type with TWO HANDS

We have to spray here, too. Religiously, and start early. :(

The guys will start spraying ours as soon as they start leafing out, sometime next month. It’s so cool to see them grow! kinda sad to sell them and know most will end up dead because people won’t take care of them. I have a hard time letting go of my babies! LOL

One of our older customers lost his in a row of rutabagas. He was distraught. He’d been married something like 75 years. He came back to the garden center and told us about it. My boss, quick thinker that he is, said so-and-so has a metal detector. They got him, went back to the rutabaga patch, and found it.

Such a symbol, and it means so much. Not that you can’t go out and buy a new one any day of the week, but it’s not the same.

Have a great day!

I love to “let it snow”!
;o)
I do feel a bit silly doing it if the sky is brilliant blue in the snow picture..LOL

Dolly, it seems that you have had that cast for a year! I am glad you finally had it removed! Congratulations!

My little Lindy is falling less - but, her little hind legs are like limp noodles, and it is difficult for her to get around. (She doesn’t get ‘babied’, either. That is the hard part for me.)

I hope Bill adjusts quickly to his new surroundings. He will soon make many friends, and hopefully realize that this is a good move for him.

I LOVE that picture!

The ivory gull fascinated me for a good half a day. It fascinates me how animal can actually prefer to live in such inhospitable climes.

Then, just to spin my brain even more, a chickadee came to the window here and alighted on an icicle to relax for a minute.

Macho birds!
