Seasons And Reasons
The scent of summer floats upon a warming air
and birds finally sing so free without a care
The snow recedes and brown grass shows its skirt
and the earth begins to renew from winter’s hurt
We await the first flower, the greening grass
the call of the whippoorwill to float softly pass
The ripple of a breeze to make waves in the reeds
and the Heron’s silent stalk among the watered weeds
Nature considers changing her ermine gown for green
Father Time feels frisky, and all that that might mean
Life’s song is upon the wind, listen and rejoice again
for now its time to find a new benning as this winter ends

When we were at the San Diego Zoo a couple of years ago, the Polar Bears were getting more attention than any other animals as we walked through the zoo! They were so cute. :)

Thank you all for your comments and compliments on my silly polar bear opening today. Each of you made me smile. Thanks also for the cute bear images and the cat in the fridgitydair photo.
I will be out most of the day, but will get back here later this afternoon. I'm not much of a hostess, am I, Amy? Sorry, some things came up and I need to take care of them. Such is life!
