A woman involved in a three-car motor vehicle accident March 3 was suspected of driving under the influence after she told the officer that she wasn't sure how her car got damaged.
"I think I might have hit something," said the 55-year-old woman.
At one point, she gazed off into the street for about 10 minutes before finding the documents the officer had requested, according to the Crestview Police Department incident report.
When asked if she had any physical or mental disablities that might have contributed to the crash, she said she did not. Then she listed four medications she was taking, including Lithium and Lortab.
The officer told her she was under suspicion for drunk driving. She responded, "You might as well shoot me with your gun," according to the report.
After struggling through the Walk and Turn exercise, she started the Finger to Nose exercise.
"I have lost my nose," she told the officer and was only able to locate it after he gave her more detailed instructions.
She provided a breath sample, but was not found to have alcohol in her system. The officer suspected that some of the four medications she took may have contributed to her behavior. She provided a urine sample.
I thought it was a Michael Jackson story.

For a minute there, when I read she had “lost her nose”... I thought, “Oh, that poor woman, lost her nose in the accident...”
But, no! LOL... she just couldn’t find the nose on her face... :-)

I don’t know what that is. But he looks like Mickey Mouse in that pic. Maybe it’s the elongated nose and recessive chin/mouth.
If I was a kid and my last name was Jackson and he arrived to tuck me in at night............I would be scared.
Maybe she should pick a new nose. But don’t let anyone else pick it, because everyone should pick their own nose.

So which is it? Drunk driving? Doped driving? How much of a fishing trip does the officer get to go on? Test the officer for steroids and caffine abuse. Why not?
