A would-be gangster shot himself in the crutch when his gun went off half cocked in his pocket.

Lukas Neuhardt, 27, had forgotten to put the safety catch on when he stuffed the gun into his trouser pocket to impress pals in Saarbruecken, Germany.

He told paramedics that a masked mugger had blasted him in the crutch in a bungled robbery.

--

Now - after surgeons stitched his manhood back together - he's facing up to three years in jail for breaching Germany's tough new anti gun laws.

I hate those things. I never liked that trigger safety combination, nor internal hammers - at least on handguns.

I have Police training from the service and I would never own an automatic.

They scare the bejeebers out of me. Fun to shoot, though. But I could never shake the feeling I left it armed even AFTER I pulled out the ammo. Especially after I witnessed someone blast a round into the clearing barrel.

As Tom Jones sung,

“There goes my everything”

Or

Is that a 9 mm in your pants or are you just glad to see me.

A would-be gangster shot himself in the crutch when his gun went off half cocked in his pocket.

He wasn't half cocked until after the gun went off.

“Glock strikes again! I can throw my S&W up against a brick wall and it won’t discharge. Why is it everyone seems to shoot themselves with a Glock?”

Sigh. More glock ignorance on display. You can drop a glock from a helicopter and it wont go off. It ONLY goes off when the trigger is pulled. People too stupid to keep their fingers off the trigger when putting a gun in their pants should carry S&W.

Have you ever seen a Glock?

Show me a Glock with an external safety that can be clicked on by the user.

However, I would agree that throwing s S&W against the wall is an appropriate action. The POS might stick!

I was making no assumptions, I for one am for sure not a Glock fan, but the story at the link doesnt mention Glock and the picture at the link is a Beretta. it is an evidence photo as you can see the ruler at the top edge. That does not guarantee that it was the gun used, as Brit journalists are likely to take whatever license they deem necessary to fill a story.

Was Hitlery there?

Hey, I resent that! I own that gun and it has served me well for many, many years.

It’s a Beretta, model 92 9mm. It’s what our troops carry and is a very good gun, I have put thousands of rounds through mine and never had a single jam.

"half cocked"

Heh, heh. Now that he's got a ho, I guess he can BE a ho.

I once defended a client who shot-off one of his own testicles in a botched bank hold up. He was not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Your honor, we plead not guilty on the grounds that my client is nuts, er, well, nut!

Maybe he pulled the trigger with something else in his pants. Anyone stupid enough to put a weapon in his pants deserves what he gets.

Prolly still can’t hit it just like you cannot address my post factually.

I’ll do it for you. Glocks don’t have a safety that the operator can “click on” so you are wrong.

No offense intended, I just dislike Glock “experts” who have no knowledge of them whatsoever who post crap that needs to be corrected.

I think you’re giving this punk too much credit. He most likely had his finger inside the trigger guard as he stuffed his gun inside is waist band.
