In a quest that is seen as wacky, way out there and as bitter partisan politics by some,the issue of Obama not showing his birth certificate to prove he is a naturalized American citizen continues. Is this really just some conspiracy theory along the lines of 9/11 truthers and alien cover ups? At first glance it seems like it. But surprisingly many American’s seem to actually believe there is some possibility of truth in this claim that Obama is not a citizen. WND continues to run stories on it but most recently a congressman’s town hall meeting became overwhelmed with the issue.
Many people will immediately jump up and say “Obama produced a birth certificate, what more do you want?” Apparently Obama provided a certificate of live birth (COLB) which is not the same as a long form birth certificate. The long form birth certificate should provide evidence that can be corroborated. The COLB provided on factcheck.org does not show a hospital, doctor’s name or anything else that can be checked, just a time and city. This COLB can also be obtained by non citizens.
Obama could easily release his long form birth certificate but hasn’t. Just to stop people from talking about it and to show that he has the most transparent administration, you think he would.
Many liberals, moderates and even some conservatives will probably read this and just say “get over it already.” There is a time to let things go and personally I already have. Not because I don’t think it’s important but because I think Obama will never release this information and even if it is true that he is not a natural citizen, that nothing will change. But should people just get over this? If it is true, it is the biggest scam in history. People never got over Bush’s decision to go to war with Iraq, should everyone just forget about this issue?
The argument could easily be made that if Obama does not qualify to be president than all of the bills he signed and executive orders he issued would have to be undone. This is very important but would cause huge upheaval. I don’t know if the American people would be able to handle this kind of event and the ramifications of the loss in trust of the government. It doesn’t mean the truth shouldn’t be fully investigated though but I sincerely doubt it ever will be

Was this merely a typo? Well, you repeated the error, so we can’t call the initial error a typo; you just aren’t what you pretend to be. But, in typical liars bluff not knowing when to keep quiet in your initial deceit, you tried to dismiss my calling you out:

I certainly disagree with the majority of what he has done and what he has stated as his intentions. I would like to remove the question whether he is legal POTUS.
If he is a legitimate American citizen, that’s fine, I would like to put an end to the question. Then, whether I agree with his policies or not doesn’t matter.

Well, one particular *new source* which has been reporting on the issue of Obama’s birth certificate is WorldNetDaily.
I would recommend everyone keep checking their website, as they’re the *only* major news source (not blogs or private websites) that *consistently* puts out articles (at least every week, if not almost every single day) that keeps reporting on this.
Check out and keep going back to WorldNetDaily. They also are the only news outfit that I know of that puts up billboards around the United States saying “Where is the Birth Certificate?”... :-)

I’ve done that search (and similar searches) before, and I’ve found little in the way of actual evidence re: how much he’s spent. Lots of people assert that he’s spent lots of money, but no one seems to provide a source for the info.
That’s interesting. What stands out from your info is that she left her husband in Hawaii and went to UW. That is extremely hard for me to believe.
As to the second, well, anything is possible from a person who has been proven to perjure himself (lie on his app to IL BAr Association) and post a fraudulent CoLB on the Internet to fool the world.

Yeah, but I think that his political advisors are probably telling Obama that a good way to keep a very vocal element who might be protesting his policies a *whole lot more* — is — for him to keep those particular “protesters” tied up on the birth certificate issue, as a way to take away energy and time from them, which they could devote to other things.
Just a thought on my part, that’s all...
One of the things that has kept me out of the birther camp is that it does seem highly unlikely that Ann would travel to Keny during her pregnancy only to return shortly after 0bama’s birth.
As I said, it takes all kinds for the Obama Derangement Syndrome group... :-)

Can anyone offer a plausible explanation for that? Very strange.
I completely agree, but his game WILL catch up to him. It is a felony to forge a government document.
