I’d order a 16-oz Golden Mean from 5 Seasons Brewing (in Alpharetta GA), and as I savored it I would observe that what, politically, makes it such an amazing brew is that a small-business owner could hire the finest brewmaster in the country to do what he knows is needed to make a most excellent beverage - and that inflicting government oversight thereon would require, under ultimate penalty of death, submitting to the whims of a cuisine-clueless bureaucrat which would turn this gastronomical high point of human culture into an overpriced O’Doules. “This nation was created by armed men in micro-brew taverns seeking to secure their liberties from the likes of you. My thought exactly. I’m fussy who I drink with and I’d much rather drink with GWB or Cheney or Rummy — or any servicemember, for that matter — than a marxist muslim bent on destroying our country.
So if I was invited for beer at this White House it would be a sign of liberal contempt. Gates in his puffed up, "I'm soooo much better than a working person" bull at least was honest about "not liking beer".
