Geico, advertisers pull ads from Glenn Beck’s show

Left-wing pressure groups Color of Change and Media Matters are claiming responsibility for getting Geico Insurance, Progressive Insurance, Procter & Gamble, and Lawyers.com to pull ads from Glenn Beck’s Fox News program.

The campaign against Beck picked up steam when the Fox News personality commented that President Obama was “racist” with a “deep-seated hatred for white people”.

So, why is it when conservatives take issue with sponsors of liberal clap trap like Olberman, Matthews, Rather, Couric, CNN, etc., etc., etc., the response is:

"We have no control over the ads and their placement. An agency does that for us and they buy blocks of advertising on the networks and we have no say in where our ads are placed."

But now liberals can get these same companies to pull ads from specific programs?

Perhaps it is time to make Progressive and P&G pull their ads from liberal programs if "all of a sudden" it is possible to now do so.

And lawyers.com? — who gives a **** about promoting bottom-feeders?

A guy walks into a bar and sees a gorgeous woman nursing a drink. Walking up behind her he says, "Hi there good lookin'. How's it going?"

Having already downed a few power drinks, she turns around, faces him, looks him straight in the eye and says, "Listen up, buddy. I screw anybody, anytime, anywhere, your place, my place, in the car, front door, back door, on the ground, standing up, sitting down, naked or with clothes on, dirty, clean ... It doesn't matter to me, I've been doing it ever since I got out of college and I just flat-ass love it."

Eyes now wide with interest, he responds, "No kidding. I'm a lawyer too. What firm are you with?"

I know more than one good professional auto/motorcycle body and paint men.

They will not deal with progressive or geico because they will NOT pay to have a vehicle fixed properly without shortcuts, inferior parts, etc.

Which is why many insurance companies have body shops that they recommend, because they will do substandard work.

That being said, all insurance companies seem to have the policy of don't pay the claim unless forced to.

I once had a manager and the adjuster from the ins company come out to my body man's place because of a grossly low dollar solution for fixing my vehicle.

The manager listened to the body man, and told his adjuster to write the checks at what my guy's price was.

It was several thousand dollars worth of work they were trying to cheat me out of.

IMO this will not work out well dollar wize for the companies that have pulled their products off of Beck's show.

But money isn't the bottom line for them, political influence is.

USAA if you can get it. They support the troops hire family members and make donations to the Wounded Warrior Projects.

Try to get a quote from Mercury—I have a local agent. The one I have stays in touch. When I did comparisons, they always have come up less expensive. I have never filed a claim, so I don’t have any experience with them in that dept.

i did it online at geico.com
they do have a coporate address online, no phone, just address.

BTW, they haven’t responded to my email. I did do a transaction online after my email re: beck and geico responded to that.

If eligible, try USAA. Either you or someone in your immediate family has to be current or former military. Auto insurance was about 10% cheaper than GEICO.

GEICO Started out as Government Employees Ins Co and was started by Leo Goodwin out of Ft Laud Fl.......Back in the 70,s I went to a lavish party hosted by Leo Goodwin III,Rock Bands Limos to go smoke pot, lobsters shrimp caviar the whole gamut, oldest person there must have been 30 other than the servers. His dogs name was Oz which all thought like "the wizard of" but it was "OZ as in 16 to the pound" At that party I met and dated the manager of the hotel Goodwin owned across from Pier 66 on the 17th st Caswy and she filled me in on the entire history.....I was at the house several times after that party and only met servants...never a parent image around...this kid was like 20 at the time..... LG III killed some kids after crashing into their car in his Ferrari and he was trashed. He was eventually banned from the roads of Ft laud and eventually one day passed out dead from a over does at the breakfast table..... Another american success story.....kid had it all and blew it

Glenn mentioned Warren Buffet yesterday. That’s okay. I dropped GEICO quite some time ago. They have cute commercials but have stinky adjusters imo and many have dropped GEICO thru the years. GEICO stands for Government Employee Insurance Company - what’s up with that anyway? I smell a rat.

Glenn Beck is filling a void. There are the fake news shows w/John Stewart and Stephen Colbert.

Glenn Beck is satirical and it's not fake commentary. When I saw Stu dressed in drag like Linda Douglas this afternoon, it was hilarious.

Glenn is a genius but it's not apparent at first glance. He saw all this coming years ago.

Even Michael Savage is being less critical of Glenn. It is all of us again the Obama regime who had PLANTS last night in NH. That little girl is an actress (prior Obama credits) and she was a PLANT.

Q. What are four companies I will never do business with?
