OK ... my tinfoil is firmly in place for this one ...
I have a slow puter that shouldn't be slow ... I have high speed.
I think it was yesterday, someone had posted a link to a site advertising for leadership jobs and, I wish I hadn't .. I clicked it. (really ... just to see)
I've been slow ever since.
Every site is slow to load and refresh ... and sometimes that server problem popup happens. So my question is ... is it only FR, or do yuze what got the problem, have overall slow 'puters?
I run XP

Yesterday afternoon I could get to the Forum, articles loaded like normal but every time I tried to "log on" to my account I got a time out error. Very strange...

It feels like a DDoS attack. May just be server issues, but it feels like an outside issue.

I experience (end less) script requests while logging in to FR every other day. I consistently receive *Time Out* errors daily. As to your inquiry, I believe MEMBERSS of FR, are attacked via GOOGLE on a daily basis.

I have a feeling there has been more ammo sold in the last 6 months than in the entire prior history of the counry.

I knew DOS would try
to take down these new fangled
Vista and Mac things.
And when DOS is done
CP/M will attack but
no one will notice...

First of all, NO tin-foil needed, this is getting pretty common.
If you been keeping up, there's been tons of cyberwars going on lately.
Facebook and Twitter were hit last week.
I run XP also and have problems quite often.
Other that, got me.
PS: someone earlier suggested a worm that was installed 3 months ago in a lot of PC was activated. We'll see.

I hope it stops now.
Right f#ck*ng now. We are all
in this together.
Republicans and
Democrats. They're our neighbors.
We don't need ammo.

We don't need ammo.Good fences make good neighbors.
So does a good, solid self-defense capability.
I want peace, too.

We don't need ammo. That's what the German, Polish, Czech, French, Italian, other European, and most especially Polish Jews said too. "We don't do guns". (Although German Jewish WW-I vets did, and were disarmed years before being sent to the showers.)
I'll buy my ammo, and hope to be able to shoot it up on the range.
