For me, the key difference in significant usage of Release Candidate Win 7 vs. Snow Leopard is: Win 7 has crashed on me and cost me many hours of work, whereas Snow Leopard has taken everything I’ve thrown at it, including repartitioning the drive (I ran out of space in the middle of an urgent process and had to delete another partition) without a reboot and without quitting any programs. It runs like a hose and is totally glitch-free. It does seem to have broken my HP scanner’s driver, but I have had no time to investigate that; might be the scanner itself.

have a wonderful time. One likes to think we wont miss being on line but after a few days .. well, there is this “itch” of sorts of the mind... Cruised Alaska twice. Will do it again. I particularly enjoyed the Skagway Whitepass railroad excursion.
One word of caution on using the iPhone there. Sometimes you "can" be billed for international calls from Canadian ATT services even when in Alaska. It took numerous calls and an itinerary fax to get them to correct it. Something to watch out for.
