Japan's new first lady says rode UFO to Venus

Japan's next prime minister might be nicknamed "the alien," but it's his wife who claims to have had a close encounter with another world.

"While my body was asleep, I think my soul rode on a triangular-shaped UFO and went to Venus," Miyuki Hatoyama, the wife of premier-in-waiting Yukio Hatoyama, wrote in a book published last year.

"It was a very beautiful place and it was really green."

Have come across enough interesting claims that I no longer accept at face value the ‘text book’ claims about such things any more than I accept ‘text book’ physics carte blance any more.

A big problem in contemporary Republics is that you vote conservatives into office, they become corrupt and insufferable, and then your only option for removing them is to vote for utter and total nutjobs: socialists, communists, and UFO travellers! *sigh*

In the case of venus, only a moron can overlook the hard data sent back by landers that have managed to survive the harsh venusian environment for a few minutes.
