I was alive in 1968. I bet I got the flu too.
Well my kids aren’t getting it anyway.
Me, too. Even simple exposure to the virus would have some effect.
Well, this makes me mistrust it even more!! It’s coming directly from the government? And there isn’t even a death toll that so far meets the regular flu?
I asked my friend, a doc...and he said
“Wait! i’m not sure yet about this vaccine..i need to see more info.”
I have a doctor friend who will not vaccinate her children. She and I are on the fence about one of my daughters who has a cronic congenital lung condition. It is a really difficult decision to make.

I refuse to take any government contracted vaccine.I’ll take my chances with the swine flu.

Last I heard, roughly 5800 Americans have died of H1N1. A typical flu season kills roughly 40,000. Keep in mind, most of the victims have pre-existing contributing factors.

Actually, the reason the vaccine is targeted to the young adult age group is that healthy people are more likely to die from this type of flu than those who have an aging immune systems. Usually those that die, die as a result of an overreaction of the immune system, called a cytokine storm.
I usually get the flu shot but this year I am leery. I’ve read articles that make me more suspicious. I’ve read of quite a few deaths from the shot but imagine there usually are some with other flu shots too.
We didn’t do any vaccines for our son. All I can tell you is that you need to pray about it. After much research and even more prayer, we came to the best decision for our child. However, every child and every situation is different. Good luck.

I'm strapped paying for the last 2 hospital stays beyond what medicare covered. I don't want my mailbox filled with collection threats. It costs a thousand bucks just to spend one night, to Hell with that! The food is rotten anyway!
