Pig vaccine may cause a serious neurological disease (Guillain - Barre Syndrome)
he is a good friend of mine, haven’t asked my doc yet, but i will..
I just don’t trust the rush, rush on this.
Follow the money, and follow the potential for a good "crisis" that shouldn't go to waste, according to Rahm.
They can give my shot to someone else, I’ll ration it myself....

The mortality rate is nothing to write home about. This is all hype.
I've heard Swine Flu shots are not ready yet
The other Flu bugs shots - I dunno
CDC sez washing your hands really carefully is the best way to keep from getting the Swine Flu
And Obama spent 2 billion on that?
Under 600 US deaths from Swine Flu from Jan 1- Sept 3, 2009 - per CDC
Yet 36,000-55,000 US deaths from all Flu-Related deaths way back in the 1990s per the CDC
Is the Swine Flu being strategically hyped to scare Americans into thinking ObamaCare is needed - or just to change the subject when Obama is in trouble or has his poll ratings tanking?
You’re right about that. However, N-acetyl cysteine and cat’s paw might be helpful to ameliorate that. The N-acetyl cysteine has shown clinical evidence of moderating and regulating aspects of the immune system such that runaway inflammation don’t become major issues.
A healthy daily regemin of Vit. C & D can probably nip such situation in the bud. Might be a good idea to have some zinc gluconate or citrate lozenges on hand also. Keep the zinc intake to < 100 mg daily (for children < 50 mg).
Also, its plausible that glucosamine sulfate may provide some anti-inflamatory prophalaxis (as an adjunct to cat’s paw affects).
Zinc can help with the chest mucus. Its usefull for production of macrophages. Those are the scavangers that clean up the debris and wounded / tired killer T-Cells that are filled to the brim with antigen coated viron particles.
N-acetyl cysteine can help regulate your immune system such that a major inflammation response doesn’t errupt.
Also, you want to be feeding your killer T-cells with vit C. The sicker you get the more you can take. Never take more than 250mg per dose. Never take more than a dose every half an hour. Make certain to injest enough water type fluids (not coffee, beer, tea or pop) in order to urinate at least 2 QT per day when taking mega dose Vit C.
Do NOT stop taking Vit C cold turkey; you’ll relapse so hard to make your head spin. You’ll know when you’re due for another dose: when you begin to feel achey flu-ey again all over (ALMOST ready to get the chills again?). Another 250mg Vit C. and with 15 minutes you’re enveloped with a nice warm glow.
Cough medicine only as necessary, but night-time cold relief is o.k. When one wakes up in the morning DO NOT take any couph medicine for at least an hour (preferably two). Chest congestion is usually worse in the morning. Work with your body (don’t suppress the morning cleansing routine).
Keep your toothbrush in a mild bleach solution (or peroxide). Don’t leave snot rags in the waste can to dry out and then disperse viral grenades around for everybody to catch. Put those into the toilette. When you flush, keep the lid down for 20 minutes to allow aerosol droplets to subside inside the toilette.
I’m taking vitamins and minerals. One of the side effects of my meds is cramps, mostly legs and hands but sometimes in my torso. Potassium helps some. The leg cramps are unbelievable when they hit, not like anything I’ve ever had before. I’m pretty stoic about pain but the cramps test my limits. They can last 15 or 20 minutes.
Perhaps your magnesium levels are off?
What kind of vitamins & minerals? A multi-vitamin? Like Centrum Silver or something?
There’s not enough C in any multivitamin to do you any good. USMDR of 60 mg is sufficient to prevent scurvy. You take the USMDR of Vit C and you won’t have symptoms of a deficiency that’s all. Primates are the only animal that do not synthesize their own vit. C. Other animals, e.g., cats, rats, dogs, etc, synthesize as much as 12g daily when stressed, sick or wounded. Think about how big those animals are in contrast to humans. You’ll know when you’re taking too much vit. C: you’ll get the Hershy squirts. Easy enough fix: back off the frequency by 1/2, i.e., evey 1/2 hour dose goes to 1 hour dose, 1 hour to 2 hour dose, 4 hour to 8 hour, etc. If one eats well, lots of vegetables and roughage, they may never notice that.
Nobody is taking mega-dose of vit. C for more than a month or two at the most. 250mg/day and that’s it. OR drink 5 gallons of OJ per day (I don’t care). There’s about 60mg vit C in one 8 oz glass of OJ. So one tab taken every hour amounts to how many gallons of OJ? I like OJ, but yuck.
What kind of meds? That sounds way more serious than merely very acute Ekbom’s syndrome. You definitely need to talk to your doc about that. You could try to self-medicate with quinine (tonic water). Drink at least two qts per day for a few days to see if that helps.
Otherwise seek methocarbamol (Robaxin), chloroquine (Aralan phosphate or hydrocloride), clonazine or diazepam for possible relief.
I keep Tums (calcium antacids) by my bedside for cramps. Biting them seems to make my cramps disappear.
Interesting in that 2 stories seem to be being played out....1. There will be mandatory vaccinations (MA state legislature is floating some bill), 2. Only folks meeting certain criteria will be allowed to get vaccine. Just an interesting observation. Thots?
>>”cramps, mostly legs and hands but sometimes in my torso.”
For cramps I take Magnesium (malate) lots. If that doesn’t stop them, then some potassium. For lung congestion, I used to use Guaifenesin. Right now, I am using bromelain. it seems better, cheaper, and doesn’t smell bad. Hawthorne is supposed to be valuable, but I have not noticed any benefit.
Hawthorne and bromelain were specifically prescribed for oxygen toxicity, and bromelain works dramatically.

p.s. Everybody is different. They may not work the same for you.
Good for you! Keep fighting the good fight!
In Mass. if you have a handicapped person in your household then everyone in the household is required to get the annual flu shot and whatever other flu shots come along.Refusing can get you a $1000 per day fine and jail time. They re working on making that cover everyone in the state.
Vit D is beneficial, as well as calcium/magnesium/zinc for leg cramps.
At our house, we're now also arming ourselves with kombucha. Other fermented foods are also known to provide protection for flus.
Kim chi has been shown to help with bird flu.
My wife’s a pharmacist and she says there is no way we will be getting this vaccine.
My oldest had confirmed swine flu a couple of weeks ago. It appears much more tame than any regular flu I've ever seen.
Never let a good crisis go to waste, you know...
