Boy, 12, Is Having Sex Change, School Announces

A school called an emergency assembly to tell children that a 12-year-old male pupil was having a sex change.

By Murray Wardrop 18 Sep 2009

The youngster arrived for his first term at secondary school wearing a dress and with long hair in ribboned pigtails after his parents changed his name to a female one by deed poll over the summer holidays.

However, the boy, who is preparing to undergo hormone treatment and sex change surgery, was immediately taunted by classmates who recognised him from primary school.

As a result, the 1,000-pupil school in south east England decided to call an emergency assembly ordering children to treat him as a girl and use his new name.

But parents have reacted angrily after some youngsters were apparently left in tears by the news. They claim that the head teacher should have informed parents of the matter beforehand, so that they could have discussed gender issues with their children.

One mother, whose daughter was a classmate of the boy at primary school, told The Sun: "She [my daughter] told me that the pupil is already a target for bullying.

"What has really upset the parents is that the school didn't see fit to send us a letter first so we could explain it to children in our own way.

Just think of the support group this confused little boy/girl will have: Gay’s, lesbians, bisexuals, his fellow transexuals (and throw in a few pedophiles from NAMBLA). If the kid thought he was confused before “the change”...

I keep thinking I’m so numb to all the mental illness in this world, but there’s always room for more surprises.

I look on the bright side.
Given how political correctness has tried to “normalize” every sort
of bizarre person/activity and make them part of the public square...
I haven’t had to go to the carnival and pay admission to
the freak show.

Sorry, but castrating a boy does not in any way, shape, nor form make him a girl. He is still genetically male, now just a male mutant. Artificial hormones may produce feminine features, but, he isnt a she.

You're so un-PC! [By the way, an over-enthusiastic castration doesn't make him a mutant, just mutilated] Next you'll be saying that poking his eye out wouldn't make him a cyclops.

Worse. School. Ever.

Oh, I dunno. We have some schools over here that could rival that one easily.

I imagine the humanists get an extra thrill out of the power to sexually mutulate boys.

I rasied boys. At twelve they are still children. These people should be jailed.

I agree. Child abuse. Let him become perverted when he’s older; and let his perversion be his own decision.

that’s amazing you actually know someone who has done this. I have so many questions...how did the parents handle this? How did they decide that this was the right move. I do think there are gender mix ups...but how do you know so early? Were there physical issues? WOW..I wish you would write about the story more..I just think it’s fascinating. I believe the parents know best..but in the story that’s posted, they should have moved and started over...IMHO. How did your family handle that?

If the child really has a genuine issue they parents are negligent for creating a spectacle out of their child’s life. A real parent with the interest of the child in mind would take steps to be discreet about such a matter.

They would move to another town, and enroll the child in a different school rather than forcing all of the other kids to conform. This whole idea of making the other children have to deal will do nothing but make their child a target of ridicule and scorn from the other children.

Children are mean, that is because they are “Base Level” and they need to be taught civilized behavior. This poor kid, real issue or not is going to be torn apart like a lamb among wolves.

Just that aspect alone makes me want to slap the idiot parents.

The parents should really take a “wait and see” approach to this issue and maybe even see about delaying puberty a few years if that is possible for their child and maybe get a few dozen more second opinions before making a change to their child’s life that may be regretted down the road.

Gender Identity in the Brain is defined by the interactions of genes and hormones during Neo Natal development. There is also some evidence that older women who have had a lot of male children will have issues with her younger male children due to the Testosterone from all the previous males babies crossing into her blood stream and developing antibodies for it which will cross back over to the younger children, if the child is genetically male it can screw with their brain’s gender development.

What is really needed is a better understanding of how brain structure is related to gender and a way to test the structure of the brain for such things.

I have known a several people with genuine gender issues. One was a male who’s mother didn’t stop taking birth control (estrogen pills) until she found out she was pregnant in her sixth month (her mom was obese when she was carrying them). He has severe Gender issues, he told me in confidence that if he could take a pill to undo that damage and be happy as a guy he would do it in an instant and despite several years of hormone therapy involving testosterone which had no effect in changing his core gender comfort level he is in a living hell. He likes feminine things and despite trying to immerse himself in the male world feels like a complete outsider or like they are a “spy” living on the edge trying not to make a mistake in the presence of his peers lest his peers think less of him.

I think the best outcome would be to find a way to scan the brain early on if there is gender identity issues and check the parts of the brain that control gender expression. If the child’s brain has been physically wired since fetal development as a male, no amount of telling them they are a girl is going to make them think otherwise and vice versa. If the child is in between, give the child a firm path to identify with their body’s gender, but be aware that this may be an issue down the road as puberty approaches. Let the parent know to be Observant and take note of their child’s behavior.

From my own personal research and experience I would say a little under half to one third of the “transsexual” population are people with genuine issues involving brain mis-wiring, genetic anomalies, or inter-sexed conditions. The rest seem to be people with severe attention issues or sexual fetish issues. The sad thing is that the latter group seems to be the ones who end up defining public opinion on such matters. The people with real issues have to put up with all of the crap that the drag queens and attention whores on top of ignorance by the Old Stream Media. They just wish for a normal life and do their best to blend in despite all of the other idiots making their lives a spectacle.

Hopefully in the future some smart scientists will develop treatment to help conform the mind to the body and allow some of those structures set in stone during fetal development to be “re-wired”. When that happens a lot of people with this discontinuity can be helped and a lot of pain and suffering will be ended. In the meantime medical science will need to do the best it can to try to treat the legitimate conditions and deal with the crazies somehow.

Is the child going to be a track star? Seriously, what business is it of the school to announce this kids personal business?

He’ll always have the XY chromosone. He can mutilate himself and pump himself full of hormones, but he will always be a boy. That’s how God made him. He needs psychological help, not mutilation. The problem is the majority of the psychiatric profession is in bed with the liberals and being PC rules the day.

allowing for the miniscule possibility that this (and all the other bizarre crap that comes out of Britain) is true, it's as if the headlines are driving the news -- that is, people are doing things to create headlines.

However, I think my original premise is more likely. Or some combination of the two.
