Good God, now I've seen everything. The "Hammer", Tom Delay is a contestant on "Dancing with the Stars"....
Wow he really surprised me and was quite amusing. Not bad at all.
He looks like he’s having a great time...so I guess I won’t call him Tom DeGay!
I read his partner, Cheryl Burke’s, comments on him a few days ago. She said she knew nothng of his politics and had to Google him to find out who he was. She said that he was really nice, a great family guy, and quite fun to work with. She had all good things to say about him.
I don’t watch the show at all, but I flipped over just hoping to catch him and to see the judges’ and audience’s reactions. So far, so good!

Scores were low but I’m going to call as often as permitted to insure he comes back. What a hoot.
I only watched tonight because of DeLay. I thought Tom was great - very funny, and not a bad dancer.
Great one liners - “I’ve got bigger critics than these judges” or something to that effect. Sure to be one of the wittier, sharper contestants if they keep him around.

I’ve tried calling several times and the line is busy so I guess we all have the same thought. I believe we can vote 5 times and I intend to do just that. IMHO his waltz was better than the fellow who came in 3rd place, hands down.
