The twelve step program doesn’t work for everyone that has an addiction. He has been in recovery numerous times and yet he keeps rolling off the wagon. Some hold the idea that one must struggle recovering from addiction and see it as a constant battle with which they must forever struggle. I think some aspects of the twelve step program are self defeating but I am glad for each and everyone that is able to maintain their sobriety through these programs. The “Rational Recovery” approach (Jack Trimpey) seems to be helpful to many.

I did see an episode of his show in which he compared Hitler and Mao in order to show how horrible Mao really is, and then also referred to how horrified people would be if he had listed Hitler as a favourite philosopher as Dunn did Mao. Is that what you are referring to? If so, then I hope you will forgive me, but I am a bit confused by what you are inferring from that. Are you saying that this reference makes the Bonaduce comment accurate? If so, I really don't see how you would support that. But, I hate to assume what you mean as it is not readily clear. If you care to clarify your meaning I will gladly share my own thoughts with you regarding your conclusions.
Didn’t watch the video...(dial up takes forever) and I don’t know the ‘context’ of the statements but I have to tell you......I want to drink too when I hear what’s happening to our country and what Beck has uncovered (so far).
