Carrie Prejean demanded more than a million dollars during her settlement negotiations with Miss California USA Pageant officials -- that is, until the lawyer for the Pageant showed Carrie an XXX home video of her handiwork.
The video the lawyer showed Carrie is extremely graphic and has never been released publicly. We know that, because TMZ obtained the video months ago but decided not to post it because it was so racy. Let's just say, Carrie has a promising solo career.
We're told it took about 15 seconds for Carrie to jettison her demand and essentially walk away with nothing. As we first reported, the Pageant is paying around $100,000 to her lawyers and publicist -- a fraction of her bills. She pockets nothing in the settlement.

Actually. It says you should not sue OTHER CHRISTIANS. And then only until you have exhausted means within the church to settle the dispute.

I think you’re right. I think that if she were a nice gal who got caught up in the hooplah, the pageant would have stood by her. I hope she takes responsibility for her life and just moves on.

I'm with you. This tape is going to come out, irrespective of the resolution of this case. And, as JoeDetweiler points out above, this smacks of extortion. The gays want her to drop her suit, or they'll distribute provocative information about her. How is that NOT extortion or any different than Letterman's case?
And, there are just as many rumors about a Letterman sex tape (God forbid), but I don't see CBS canning old Dave. This has nothing to do with sex tapes or racy pictures, and everything to do with a young woman answering a political question honestly, a questions that happened to be asked by a gay judge that the pageant themselves selected.

Women her age and beauty tend to have cell phone pictures or other video whenever they get drunk, stoned or high.

A central leftist tenant is that generally right & wrong are outdated concepts, and in particular that ANYTHING sexual is OK —anything. Indeed the concept of homosexuality was an important component of the attacks on Prejean, once they learned she had religious impulses.
Yet here, they jettison those ideas —here, masturbating is a horrible thing.

That's one moral, for sure. But we have to account for the leering comment that "Carrie has a promising solo career." I think we understand what that means, and it strongly suggests that Ms. Prejean quite willingly placed herself into a rather unwholesome situation.
The other moral is that you should be mighty careful about allowing yourself to be lionized by Christians (as she also quite willingly did), when there's a better-than-even chance that your past will cause you to be lion-ized by the other side.

I DISAGREE though with the assumption about breast enlargement which is a surgical way of beautifying yourself. There’s nothing wrong with making yourself look good for other people. If that’s what made her happy, who are we to judge her?
Why do you all accept this is true, and why do you then forget thet she was fired for answering a question about gay marriage. It had nothing to do with a sex tape.

This article is a smear job because they had to pay her some money, which the article admits but dismisses as an afterthought. “Oh, we had her dead to rights, sure we paid her lawyer and publicist a few hundred thousand ....”
