During Christmas break one year while at college, I worked for two weeks at a Post Office in Brooklyn. The letter carrier was a great guy (the people on the route loved him). Several of them even tried to give me Christmas money as a tip, and I told them I would give it to the regular guy...and then they said that they already gave to him and this was for me! Salt of the Earth people...mixed neighborhood of Italians, Irish, Poles and Jews in Flatbush.
OK--lemme get to my point: after delivery each day we went to a bar in the nabe where my guy was well-known (while I was only 18 y/o at the time, that was the legal age in NY then). It was Holiday Cheer every day...

“According to online court records, Pflughaupt has three convictions for operating while intoxicated, including one just three months ago. Her prison sentence was suspended in that incident.”
It appears this was not her first rodeo.....

She's a lot cuter when she isn't plastered.
Makeup helps, too.

DRUNKEN NOODLES
INGREDIENTS:
* 2 14-ounce packages 1/4-inch-wide flat rice noodles*
* 1/4 cup vegetable oil
* 12 garlic cloves, chopped
* 1/4 cup chopped fresh Thai chiles*
* 1 1/2 pounds ground chicken
* 1/4 cup fish sauce (nam pla or nuoc nam)*
* 1/4 cup black soy sauce*
* 1/4 cup Golden Mountain sauce* or light soy sauce
* 1 tablespoon sugar
* 4 large plum tomatoes, each cut into 6 wedges
* 4 Anaheim chiles or Italian frying peppers, or 2 green bell peppers (about 12 ounces total), cut into strips
* 1/2 cup fresh Thai basil leaves* or regular basil leaves
PREPARATION:
Cook noodles in large pot of boiling salted water until tender but still firm to bite, stirring frequently. Drain.
Meanwhile, heat oil in heavy large pot over medium-high heat. Add garlic and Thai chiles; sauté 30 seconds. Add chicken and next 4 ingredients and sauté until chicken is cooked through, about 4 minutes. Add noodles, tomatoes, and Anaheim chiles; toss to coat. Transfer to large platter, sprinkle with basil leaves, and serve.
*Available in the Asian foods section or produce section of some supermarkets, and at Southeast Asian and some Asian markets.

I dunno...breaking and entry on an unlocked door while in an altered state? Theft for a pack of noodles?
Any barely competent lawyer could produce a truckload of reasonable doubt due to her level of inebriation.

I've had drunken noodles, in Thailand as a matter of fact. That's good eats.
I've never actually had them when I was drunk, though. :-))

Postal Service employees should always be armed with noodles ... as opposed to guns.
