Well, that was certainly refreshing. A dhimmirat (the Shatner character) makes the full pendulum swing to the right side in a matter of five seconds. “Knee. Right foot. Left foot.” Outstanding! “Thank God for Guns, eh Jerry?” Spot on!

While it’s a hilarious scene, I don’t think it’s actually pro. Rather than having people say “oh ha ha, how unrealistic but fun to watch knowing it’s a TV show”, it’s a caricature of legal gun owners and how silly/crazy/scary/bloodthirsty we’re supposed to be.
It’s made for sheltered New York hipsters to watch, laugh, and then shake their heads saying “dear me, how distasteful, so glad pistols are banned so that would never actually happen!”
I could be wrong, but I just see Alec Baldwin’s “30 Rock” character.
I can’t wait to see his interview with Rush on “Raw Nerve”! :D
