Anybody get a pic of this twitter page with Maddow and Sharpton as Clemmons’ “buddies”? It would be good to have it posted here for posterity and accountability.

If it was a hoax, I wonder if Twitter will issue an announcement.

I dont think the page was a hoax for 2 reasons:

1. The last post was made in July 2009.
2. I read a couple media reports that the page was real (for what that's worth).

Well, the page is gone from Twitter now.

I found that I still have Clemmons' Twitter page in my cache, so I was able to redisplay it and save it. I also made a screen shot if it. If anyone needs info on Clemmons' Twitter page, please Freepmail me.

In the right margin under "Following," note the tooltip reading "Rep. Keith Ellison." This tooltip appeared when I moused over the link to Ellison's page. The link is the small picture of Ellison, which is under "Following," in the top row, 4th from left. (The cursor itself disappeared when I did the Print Screen.)

I wonder if there will be any coverage of Maddow, Al Sharpton, and Ellison's connection to this cop killer. Again, if it were a so-called "right wing" nutcase there would be all sorts of coverage linking the perp to the individuals connected to him on a Twitter page like this.
But I suppose there will only be crickets sounds on MSNBC and elsewhere on this connection...

You’re welcome. I agree that the MSM is highly unlikely to cover this. That’s why FR is so great. You can learn things that you would never learn from the MSM.

Agreed, but FreeRepublic does get linked and searched and found via Google on more issues than can be imagined — this one included!
