How do I add a signature?

Most have a signature after their screen name in their posts. I can't figure out how to do this and I am not new to forum formats and basic computer skills, but I must admit that FreeRepublic is unique. Can someone please tell me how to do this...

I don’t think it’s a good idea for anyone to climb down Ass Mountain. Particularly with a razor blade in one hand and a bottle of ink in the other. You could fall and end up as a streak on the bottom.

Beyond the tagline for signature you could use an image of your signature. This signature image will have to be posted somewhere on the internet and available to you.

Take the properties address from the jpg image of your signature and post it using html. I can't give you the exact code here since it will attempt to post an image resulting in an X box. But you can readily look up the code for posting images using html.

It goes somewhat like this. symbol img src="properties address"symbol /a> Hint: to complete use the symbol < where I posted the name symbol. No, don't use the name symbol. Just use the actual symbol: <

What’s a “zot”?

A Zot is an event where someone is banned from the FR, usually a troll or disruptor. The Viking Kitties are called in to humiliate the troublemaker. Zot threads are generally entertaining.
