Bartenders aside, would someone please tell Joe that one does not wear a black tie with that collar. Formal dress calls for a white tie with a wing collar. Modern fashion “experts” notwithstanding, wearing a black tie with a white wing collar shirt should be reserved for waiters in pretentious restaurants and bartenders in vodka swilling martini bars.
