Looks like they asked all the black folks at Commerce to sit directly behind her.

(We have the 1st so that we can call on people to rebel. We have 2nd so that they can.)

Just going to make the same observation. It seems whereever she speaks that must tell all whitey’s to leave the room.

Charles Hurt of the New York Post:
FLOTUS was introduced to Dept of Commerce employees this afternoon by Commerce Secy Gary Locke, who commended the First Lady for blazing a path in high style.

Like the Freeper Post said, I'm here for some reason. Beats me, I guess I gotta be somewheres. Long as I am here, what the heck is going on in this country? Ya'll got Barack all wound up and to tell you the truth, those Wednesday night White House parties are getting to be nothing but a bunch of drunk staffers bitching about working for a looser. One thing you don't wnat to here is Rahm all liqured up going on about Rush Limbaugh. I need to talk to Oprah!

The reason why she is speaking to the Department of Commerce is because she is telling them what it takes to be the person of the week.
I was once person of the week, when I was in 3rd grade.

This might be the nicest dress on her ever. I like the simplicity of the line and the 3/4 sleeves. For once she is dressing appropiately for the weather. The buttons add nice detail and break up her long torso much better than a high belt.

The boob belts have been retired. And that’s a good thing.
