In 2007, the most comprehensive report to date on global warming, issued by the respected United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, made a shocking claim: The Himalayan glaciers could melt away as soon as 2035.
These glaciers provide the headwaters for Asia's nine largest rivers and lifelines for the more than one billion people who live downstream. Melting ice and snow would create mass flooding, followed by mass drought. The glacier story was reported around the world. Last December, a spokesman for the World Wildlife Fund, an environmental pressure group, warned, “The deal reached at Copenhagen will have huge ramifications for the lives of hundreds of millions of people who are already highly vulnerable due to widespread poverty.” To dramatize their country's plight, Nepal's top politicians strapped on oxygen tanks and held a cabinet meeting on Mount Everest.
But the claim was rubbish, and the world's top glaciologists knew it.

Climate change has lost its luster as the clarion cry from the watermelons. The new buzz word for global catastrophe is Ocean Acidification due to increased man-made CO2
We still need to stop the global warming agenda. It is now infested in the military, the CIA, NASA, and the SEC, among others.

Please post such commentary, also known as an OpEd column(opinion/editorial), in News/Activism. This isn't a trivial story that belongs in chat. It was one of the big trio for Obama's domestic agenda, the rationale for cap and trade and dubious green jobs.
Please, check off such OpEds for the editorial sidebar in the future. It will get more eyeballs hanging there.

I only wish this hoax was over, but I suspect those who have a vested interest in it will relentlessly continue the effort. Personally I have a passion for individual freedom as well as the scientific method and the anthropogenic global warming scam offends deeply on both counts.
What is really amazing is how many billions these scam artists (led by Al Gore) made. They were literally selling.......nothing. But they made billions of dollars.

At liberal Hollywood parties, where cocaine flowed in the rest rooms and the ladies handbags cost as much as a new Mercedes - rich hosts gave out goodie bags that included certificates for "Carbon Offsets" so that rich actors and actresses could use their private jets and not feel guilty about it.
Business sold billions. It is perhaps the biggest con game in the history of man.

Worse yet, it is still being taught by a million ignorant teachers in our public schools. We must stop this indoctrination NOW!
I have no problem with religions, so long as they don't empower con artists like the money-hungry, conflict-of-interest-big-time head of the UN's IPCC criminal.
