PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti Angelina Jolie began two days of meetings with Haiti earthquake victims Tuesday in her role as a goodwill ambassador for the U.N. refugee agency.
The actress, representing the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees, met with U.N. officials in Port-au-Prince and visited an SOS Villages camp for orphans outside the capital, where she was cheered by Haitians yelling, "Angie! Angie!"

I am easily amused, what can I say. The title struck me as funny.

Perhaps she can enlighten us with her deep knowledge of disaster organization and plate tectonics.

If she has a UN refugee body, then she needs to eat.
Someone get her a hamburger.

That’s not a UN Refugee body. It’s a firm, perky, make me globally-warm body.

Maybe she'll attend the ceremony renaming the Teutonic plate gap under Haiti Bush’s Fault.

I respect the fact that she’s willing to donate her own money and time to a good cause.

I am not really sure what plate tectonics have to do with this. I am sure that 99.999% of world population would not know anything about plate tectonics. She is smart to know that 0bama is socialist and she has been involved with the UN for a while. But hey, why waste an opportunity to trash somebody?

A poster on another thread regarding this morning quake near Chicago suggested they name that previously un-named fault, “Bush’s Fault” - considering that quake’s location, that makes more sense.

probably none. If you knew anything about what was going on all aid is being flown into Las Americas International Airport (SDQ) in Santo Domingo and being trucked across the border. I am sure if there were a conflict flights could be diverted to PUJ.

Saw a report the other day that said many supply flights had been held up by celebrity visits.
This was from someone that was there.

In spite of Jolie being kooky...she at least has put her money where her mouth is concerning the absolutely poverty stricken people in 3rd world countrie; even prior to being appointed to UN as a rep.
