I can just imagine seniors on HoverRound scooters tooling down to the local 7/11 to get Zig-Zag papers and Phillies “blunts.” Complete with a bad of Doritos and Slurpee for the munchies.

Smoking weed is just as civilized, and no more dangerous, than alcohol. IMO.

Anyone need more evidence that pot-smoking causes stupidity???

Yes, its a good idea to be high when reading the the NY Times. Makes it all so much more easy to accept.

long term chronic use of pot makes for strange folks...not as destructive as alcohol but languishing for a lifetime

(daily pot smoker 1971-1983)

pot is best in discretion

i cannot stand to be around dense stoned goofy self absorbed folks anymore but once I was one...almost 30 years ago

never thought I’d quit but life got in the way...I cannot imagine being stoned much now or God forbid Owlsley...is he still alive?

Why is it considered (by society) wrong to smoke cigarettes, but pot is supposedly ok?

The wisdom of age seems somewhat overstated.

I hate marijuana!!! It has stolen 13 years from my son’s life. He too thinks it is harmless. He has college degree.. started smoking in college, does nothing else beside pot but it has taken away, his son, relationships, jobs... he now waits tables at 33. Very bad imho! He knows he can’t pass a drug test at other jobs.

Alchohol has effected others in similiar ways, do you think alchohol should be made illegal?
