LOS ANGELES (AP) -- The Los Angeles Police Department apologized to the family of Robert F. Kennedy for exhibiting the tie, white shirt and black jacket the senator was wearing when he was assassinated in 1968.

After a complaint from the family, the LAPD removed the items from a display at a homicide investigators conference in Las Vegas.

"This is supposed to be a learning experience," Police Chief Charlie Beck told The Associated Press on Wednesday. "It wasn't intended to cause anyone grief or to be prurient or salacious in any way."

Who are these “Kennedys” they mention in the story?

what you wrote is complete and total bunk and you're probably citing some tabloid bs.

He was a swinger. he did it for the orgies in the 1960s.

Paul Krassner wrote about the reputed film linking members of the Manson family to the Hollyweird set. He mentioned the film as being in police holdings.

Manson ran in Hollywood circles. He knew musicians beyond just the Beach Boys. He also ran in drug circles.

Bob Crane filmed his own orgies.

Rob Lowe videotaped his activities.

Pamela and Tommy Lee videotaped their activities.

Chuck Berry videotaped his activities.

I don't claim that such a film exists or that the police hold it, but do not find the possibility to be “outrageous”.

PS. Anton LeVay was a police crime photographer awhile.

If you can’t be a satanic swinger, what else is there for fun? (just kidding)

Thanks for the pictures, Joe.

Almost as much controversy about the killing of RFK as that of his brother.
