A 14-year-old girl was severely beaten outside a Broward County middle school.
The sheriff's office reports that a 15-year-old boy attacked the girl Wednesday afternoon while she waited for her bus outside Deerfield Beach Middle School. The boy, who attends Deerfield Beach High School, was reportedly angry about comments someone else told him the girl had made.
Deerfield Beach was also the seen where Michael Brewer was attacked by classmates and set on fire late last year.
"My heart goes out to the parents of both of these children. This is another tap on the shoulder that says wake up. We need to start paying attention," Brewer's grandmother, Reenie, said after hearing about the attack. "How many more children are going to be hurt before we start tackling this problem head on?"
Broward Sheriff's Office spokesman Mike Jachles says the boy punched the girl, knocked her to the ground and then stomped on her repeatedly. A teacher had to pull the boy off her to stop the beating.
The girl was taken by helicopter in critical condition to a Fort Lauderdale hospital. Jachles says authorities are planning to charge the boy with attempted murder.

Why should anyone “feel” for the parents of the idiot thug who stomped on the girl?
Only the girl gets any sympathy and the thug should be stomped to near-death himself, allowed to recover, then stomped again twice more.
At least that’s what the Old Testament says to do. I agree with the three-fold punishment in return.
A 15-year old who can’t control his impulses, is a criminal train-wreck that will not stop at just this.

No Way, give the 15 year old to the girls father for 15 minutes. One rule, the boy must stil be breathing after 15 minutes. There are apects of Shari law that makes sense.
Not really, in Sharia law the father would be mostly concerned with damage to his property, and the boy’s parents would only have to give them a couple goats or something.

As it is though, even if tried as an adult, he'll be out of prison in his early-mid 20s as a hardened ex-con, unemployable, thoroughly educated in criminality and indoctrinated in violence. The man released back to society will make the 15 year-old kid he once was look like an angel.
