Ok, yes I am bored. Was looking at various threads and wonder how and why Freepers come up with their sign ons.
For example. I am MnJohnnie. I live in Minnesota and, for some reason, everyone calls me Johnnie instead of John. So when confronted with having to come up with a signon, I went with the 1st thing that popped into my mind.
So why did you pick your sign on? What does it mean?

I signed up in January 2001 after lurking for a couple years. I was so happy that W finally was named the winner over Algore. I see no need to change it.

There are some Freepers I would love to see respond to this. For me it was 1999 and even though we were suffering under Clinton I still had hope. It’s worse now but my name still fits.

I’m a contradiction....like Marcel Marceau in “Silent Movie.” His speaking - the only line in that movie - was a stroke of genius.

“Snake Doctor” is the operational callsign of Jonas Blaine, the leader of a Delta Force/ Black Ops military team on the cancelled television series “The Unit”.
I chose it because it sounded good, as a non-obvious tribute to unsung heroes — and because Jack Bauer doesn’t have a callsign.
