On Monday it will be fifteen years, we must never forget the cost of violence. She would be learning to drive right now...

Our government is the potent, the omnipresent teacher. For good or ill it teaches the whole people by its example.

I won’t forget that had Reno not murdered folks at Waco via the military (clearly illegally in spite of Posse Comitatus) those folks in Oklahoma CIty would be alive now. Yeah, I’ll remember, alright. IT was a real shame. Get out yer hanky, they may well be WORSE coming...

Bullsh!t

McVeigh was an unstable extremist who would’ve gone off whether Waco happened or not.

And David Koresh was no better. NEITHER deserve defending.

Reno and the ATF made plenty of mistakes, but that’s no excuse for what happened in Oklahoma City.

I don’t care what Reno did. Timothy McVeigh was not a hero. It did not justify what he did.

I don’t think I want to defend either McVeigh or Koresh at this point but aside from what you’ve been told by the MSM, why do you believe either of them to be so reprehensible?

Remember... leave out whatever you’ve heard via the MSM.

I said nor implied there was any mistake or linkage. I said that had one not happened the other would not. That is a fact. I didn’t attempt to exonerate any criminal.

That said, I have always said that there may well be a day that “that criminal” is to our future what John Brown was to the Civil War. I don’t want to see Civil War II anymore than anyone else does. I don’t think we can avoid it by pretending things that just ain’t true.

I remember her. That sweet little angel’s name was Baylee. And her grief stricken mother was grateful that at least, the First Responders got her out of the rubble.
So many babies and small children that were in the daycare center died that day. Such a tragedy.

Koresh duped hundreds that the Messiah (himself) would carry a machine gun and rape 12-year-old girls.

McVeigh killed innocents.

These are facts not in dispute.

carry a machine gun and rape 12-year-old girls.

Those were the accusations -- but they never supported by any substantial evidence.

Thank you Mountain Mary. We have to remember Baylee. I think we all have to stand against violence, and its costs.

Are you seriously condoning this tragedy and suggesting more violence?

Remember... leave out whatever you’ve heard via the MSM.

That was initially hard for me to do. My wife and I were in the exact same vacation spot, in the same weight workout room, 1300 miles from home, when the TV in the gym showed the Waco fire and the OKC bombing. Talk about deja vu!

“Those were the accusations — but they never supported by any substantial evidence.”

Um, except by the testimony of the survivors and the tally of children he fathered to mothers under 15.

Being that none of us were there, this is an unreasonable requirement. ALL media reported that the survivors testified that he did this. It was a major part of his sick doctrine.

TruthHound is a fine, upstanding member of society. As such he has never engaged in immoral or illegal acts nor has he been guilty of any infraction of any law.

Sounds good, right? But let’s do a little editing. After all, it is a bit long and we want to fit this story into as small a space as we can. If I were running a newspaper and trying to make ends meet by selling advertising space I sure wouldn’t want to waste space telling the world that a great guy was unjustly murdered by the FBI. And if I had an ax to grind I might even go a bit further. Of course the MSM doesn’t have any ax to grind, does it? But it still could come out like this:

“TruthHound has engaged in immoral or illegal acts.”

I’m not saying that is what happened but after reading the transcripts of the hearings and trials form both Ruby Ridge and Waco, I’d have to think the MSM had a very big ax to grind.

BTW, Koresh had some 50-cal rifles but no machine guns. As to who fathered which children—it doesn’t matter anymore, they’re all dead.

Don’t it just hit you rigfht in the face that RATS were heavily involved in both cases??? And exerted much pressure toward influencing the publics take on what happened??

Well this puts me in the awkward position of having to defend an obviously flawed justice department, but when it goes up against a survivalist CULT leader who twists the word of God into those which will satisfy his pedophile lusts, I’ll take the side of the LAW every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

I’m no expert on what happened at Waco, but I DO know enough through archival footage and testimony that the deaths are much more appropriate to lay at the feet of Koresh than Reno. He spent years preparing the Branch Davidians for the outcome that he alone could have prevented.

And I have no sympathy for him or tolerance for anyone who would throw out the public record to make him a Martyr for gun rights. Koresh was PURE EVIL and he used his influence to kill dozens of innocents.
