Prayer Request For My Brother and Fellow Freeper Who Has Recently Lost His Job

My Brother and Fellow Freeper recently lost his job....he is working hard on focusing all his energy in finding another....but understandably....he is a bit uneasy and nervous....

I've always felt the good Lord answers our prayers...and there is grace to be found when his people raise their voice in unison....

So please be so kind as to submit a request upon his behalf to our father....to give him peace, strength, and courage during this difficult....

Hi Cindy/All...

He lives on Long Island and his expertise lies in high end p/c and disability claims litigation.

Losing his job came as a complete surprise to him....out of the blue.....and according to him was a very humbling experience....

He is well regarded in the industry and has some contacts....so I am confident he will land on his feet...although he may have to take a pay cut initially. He is actually on an interview today....and I thought the prayers of many will assist in his journey.

Although not related...this hits home....I too am facing some uncertainty in my profession....I'll know more by late summer....but the outcome may put significant strain on my personal and professional life....if I am not downsized outright....

We are living through some very difficult economic times....where your accomplishments and work ethic appear to take a back seat to the bottom line....

My brothers situation was like a swift kick to the gut....mine is like death by a thousand cuts....

I'm really not sure, at least for my predicament, how to proceed since I have no clue as to what is to transpire....so suggestions on how to prepare for a possible downsize would be welcomed.

For all that have raised a prayer on behalf of my brother I am very thankful for the kindness expressed....I will be sure to share this thread with him in the near future....
